hi guys,

 

im riding a spec 1 now for bout a year. realised that on sg roads, very seldom i can travel more than 100km/h as i work at chinatown. i always get myself stuck in traffic jams, got to squeeze through during the peak hours.

1)i was thinking is it still worth paying installments for my bike but i travel like any other 2B bike which does not emit that much of heat(my bike overheats easily) ?

2) Super 4 maintainence, 4 times the normal maintainence compared with 2b bike or even other 2a bike. Worth it?

 

Im kinda procastinating between a 2A bike and 2B bike. yes its true, the joy of riding S4 will compensate the cost of bearing 1. but in the long run, is it worth it?

Thinking of getting a BAJAJ PULSAR, the other s4 lookalike, also a naked bike.

 

So guys, any comments? perhaps you might wanna add a few comments.

I dun think S4 maintenance cost is very high... unless you are a pretty budget rider who solely uses the bike just for transportation and no more.

 

If cost is an issue to you, then find all means to reduce yr cost by downgrading, provided you dun incurr additional losses through the transactions.

 

You speak about the joy of riding a S4 and whether its worth it. I guess this only the rider can answer for himself when he's on the bike.

 

All I can say is that most of us here rides 95-99% of the time on sg roads and we too hardly go above 100km/h, we too experienced jams and got to squeeze thro traffic, we too have "hot" bikes which we pay installments for monthly.. But none of us regretted upgrading from our previous ride and am enjoying every moment of it.

 

Bajaj in my opinion is mainly for transportation.. i never quite liked its feel and vibration ... but then again to each his own.

Ya, quite true actually... If really wanna transport bike might as well getta cub eg.wave, x-1, sparkZ or magic :D in tis way u hv low fuel consumptions, low maintanence & smtimes u dun even bother to wash oso :p
