Now that all the Hungry Ghosts have reported back to wherever, I think our next coming event will be the Mooncake Festival.

Like last year, we shall have a gathering somewhere to play lanterns, eat mooncakes and sip green tea under the serene full moon then.

Oh! Not to forget my favourite activity, play with candles. This year I want to drip candle wax into someone's arse, play cards draw big small and decide!!! (Stares evilly at Whisk!)

:help: :help:

Who's your Daddy?!?

Intended Speech by Royston:

ESR and friends. I thank you for taking time this evening to gather here at Singapore Polytechnic to celebrate our 2nd ESR Anniversary. For those who don't know me, my name is Royston. I am honoured to be appointed by the organising commitee for this event to give a short speech here.

2 years ago, our group first started off as a casual group of Honda Super 4 riders most of whom reside in the eastern part of the island. Since then, our numbers have grown and many of us have upgraded to bikes of bigger capacity, types and brands. Despite so, our friendship stayed true to one another and that we are still as one group together here at this point of time.

We have made many trips together, have had a lot of fun and enjoyed one another's company. All the kopi dinner sessions, gatherings for birthdays, mahjong, movies have bonded us together closely like family. We have also pooled together all our knowledge regarding the techincal aspects of our machines and information regarding other matters like possible destinations for trips, leisure activities, etc, and that our group here is an extension of Singapore Bike Forum from beyond the computer monitors into real life.

Yes, there have been some accidents here and there but we have always been there for one another in such events. And that is the basis of our group, to be there for one another in times of needs.

Despite the fact that most of us have upgraded to bigger bikes, we should not be arrogant and to be humble and helpful to fellow bikers in and out of the forum. We are still an interest group first and foremost where all of us share a passion for bikes and touring. We are not a motorcycle gang who go about terrorising other road users but a group meant for sharing information and such.

Friends come and go, likewise for some riders who have joined us briefly but left. I am saddened sometimes by such incidents but that is the way of life with the ongoing processes for many regarding work, family, girlfriends and wives for some. But do remember that the friendship each and everyone of you have forged here within our group is priceless, treasure it well and it will be afloat until the end of our lives. Abuse or exploit it, and it will sink prematurely.

I will like to thank each and every ESR here today and those who could not make it due to work or family commitments for their continued efforts to be together as a group. You are all whom have made today possible. Thank you all. (Gives a respectful bow.)

We are still an informal bikers group right now at this point of time, but it is possible that in the near future when the timing is right, we will go on to register with the Registry of Societies and make our group official. I hope to see many of us here at this point of time there when that happens, together with some new blood and faces.

Without further delay, let us take a look at a video clip that is a complilation of all the activities that had taken place this past year. Please help yourselves to the refreshments and drinks provided.

Enjoy.

 Well said!

It's a fate that brought us together. Life is wonderfully strange.Life is predestinied.

Would we know each other if you never took bike licence?

Would we know each other if you never surf forum?

Would we know each other if you never click on super 4 topic?

Would we know each other if you never click ESR?

Would we know each other if you never care to meet up?

Would we know each other if you are too shy?

Would we know each other if you .... etc

Now, wouldn't you find it amazing?

10,20,50 years from now and you would still remember that you once had a group of friends having fun together.

Help each other within your own limits!

Looking forward to the next X'mas party and 3rd anniversary...

You may change your ride but do not change your gang. Hee! :cheeky:

Life's a gift... That's why they called it the present.

Hi all ESR. Haven't been posting much lately due to work commitments. The speech as follows will be the one that I would have given if I made the effort to prepare it properly. I'm not a trained public speaker, believe me when I tell you that I was very nervous when I spoke to all of you at the 2nd ESR Anniversary at my old school Singapore Polytechnic last Saturday evening. Please forgive any typo or vocabulary mistakes if there is any. Thank you and best regards.

I'll help u upload this onto the multiply :)

In that case, i think fazer still not good enough.. cos there's a better bike out there..

1.cheaper than fazer.. one fz6 can buy 3 of these..

2.slower than fazer by a lot.. max speed less than 120km/h

3.smaller than fazer a lot.. so small.. u always manage to see them hiding behind the hdb void decks walls to avoid summon aunties.

4.lighter? maybe 2 strong guys can carry it and run 2.4km.

5.last but not least.. FC a lot better than FZ.

And the best thing is.. It for integrated signal lights, pole light and looks good with lotsa of blink blink light!

Let me present to u.....YAMMIE SPARKS 135!!
