Hi all,

 

Bike: Super 4 spec 1

Problem faced: Right signal not working well.

 

Brief Explanation:

 

When i push my thumb on the signal button to the right, it will blink one time, then no more, i will have to play the signal button abit again for the right signal light to flash.

 

My left signal is alright, hazard light is alight too.

 

Conclusion:

 

Means the bulb of the signal is not the issue?

 

It's the signal button inside(metal part) getting corrosion?

 

Similar to the kill switch issue, bike will sudden cut off, read from forum, for this case, just open up the kill switch assembly and use alcohol and wipe the metal part?

 

Can lao jiao help me in this case?

 

Abit dangerous for me cos usually i just push the button, check for cars, then change lane, nv rly notice got flash anot, later kena bang by cars LOL

I had a similar problem with my passing light, press and nothing happens most of the time. Occasionally it works.

Also had the same conclusion, bulb OK but contact is NG.

 

So I took it off, clean off the dirt and dust, spray with WD40, let it sit for a while and wipe off the WD40. Re-assembly.

Been working fine so far.

Yamaha Power Valve, Suzuki scrambler, Honda Scrambler (1992 - 1998)

Firstly, take your left bulb and test at the right bulb socket. If it's fine, time to change right bulb. Else, do some clean up to the switch.

WD40. If it doesnt work, disassemble it and check contact terminals.
