ummm how much does a new x1-r cost ? and how much does a second hand fbb plate cost ?

07 - 08 kawa 150

08 - 09 sparks 135

09 - ?? cbr 400

I got my bike and so far changed the rims and tyres, exhaust and rear monoshock. I cant reach 140km/h no matter how i try it.

1st 50km/h

2nd 80km/h

3rd 110km/h

4th 110 to 120km/h(took its sweet time to get there)

 

Its the same with the original rims and tyres. It just feels lyk its acclerating quicker with the new exhaust but no top end difference. Mebe its time to change the CDI and rebore the block and try oversized piston. Mileage 900Km.

Any thoughts?

hey sian diao! My speedo meter spoilt sia.. Anybody got encounter this kind of problem b4?

 

mine spoilt long ago liaoz....LOLXx....

change the cable lor... orginal YAMAHA X1R one leh...

we cannot use SPARK cable coz spark one very LOoonngg.g.....

yah i'm wondering too.. i'm going there too some time in early march.. hoped to see some 'rare breed' of x1-r over there..

 

unfortunately, X1-R in Thailand is like the sports model of Cubs. Not that many parts available commonly.

Thanx for the advice haowei. Im giving up trying to make it faster since it doesnt really do much for the money. but i think i will change my mind later. Now im planning to get inverted forks.I heard there is lower fairings made in thai that covers the bottom half of the bike.but ive yet to see one.if there is im in.

MAKE SURE ITS ORGINAL YAMAHA ONE with X1R written on it...

It cost me i think 15 bucks.... i called my mechanic to take for me den i go down de... i make sure he open the packet with Yamaha yamaha yamaha yamaha yamaha printed on the plastic bag one.. hehe

HI, i just fix a IU bracket on my X1R right below my left side handle bar, but the ERP gantry gate can't scan, wanna ask if anyone here have this prob too? or does anyone have recommend bike shop fixing bracket for IU? i went back to the bike shop they told me they can't do anything and seem like not willing to help me slove the problem.

Hey Hey.. I used to have that problem when i was riding spark. Mine was somewhere below the right handle bar and also it can't be scanned. lOl.. My X1-R's IU is currently on top on the left handle bar area.. Where the mirror is. Ugly but it does not cause any problems.

yeah, the bike shop mech told me the only thing is to put back to orginal position :cry: . felt like got cheated coz before i fix the bracket i asked the mech if the gantry gate can scan my IU, and he told me no problem, many ppl did that and have no problem:angry: heard those word from the mech b4 i fix the bracket and cost me 55sgd:giddy:

whahaa... i think i no.1 spoilt... =p

one more thing,....

coz inside our X1R the HEAD alot wires very squeezy....

make sure yr cable is straight down... if not u turn here turn there will cause the needle to break...

tat time i think is i handle lock den SNAP!!!
