yr servicing means service yr bike ?? or service the carb??

u can chose not to change..and u can chose to change if u service and retune yr carb..

but if u mean service yr bike...most likely is change engine oil and bleh bleh bleh..all that stuff...

Hi all. Just a small lil question to ask ya? how much did u guys set ur idling?

i went for tuning just now. before tuning my idling was set at about 1000 to 1200

after tuning, i believe the mech reset it fer me. now it's at abt 500. kinda worries me. from my limited knowledge, i believe it shud be about 800 to 1000.

anyone can gimme some feedback on this?

Ok i think you should adjust back to around 800 rpm to 1000 Rpm. Cos from wat i know if the idling speed is too low it will hurt your cam or engine

The oil pump in the motorcycle engine depend on the REv of your engine. The higher the REv the higher the oil pressure but of course that is bypass valve when the pressure is too high.

So let say if your idling is too low ,there might be not enough oil pump to the cam and crank. So that cause more wear and teat.

it is best tune your idling according to your spec to ensure enough oil is pump up in the engine.

well~ what do u suggest will be suitable for my spec then?

i riding just v-tech. when i first get my bike 3years ago my idling is at 1500, i find it high so i asked the mech, and he said it had to be around 1500 coz if too low the batt would't be charge and can cause the batt and retific to spoil faster... until now i still dont know if it is right... anyone heard of this be4?
