Hatyai and Krabi trip

Hi all riders,

We are heading Hatyai and Krabi this coming CNY, moving off from sg at 2300 hours on 30th Thursday night. Reaching Hatyai 31th Friday. Its a 5day 4 nights trip. Trip open only to Class 2 riders as riding speed average 160-180 km/h. Interested riders pls text me @ 83994567. Thanks

Hmmmm...wrong timing for me though...

I am heading up to Hatyai on 20th Dec midnight, gonna stay for 3 days before heading up to Phuket for another 3 days (spending christmas there) before returning back to Hatyai for another 3 more days (last min shopping etc) before returning back home to SG ~

Used to travel at ave speed of 200km...lol

That was many years ago...

 

This upcoming trip, don't think will be doing that kind of speed, maybe 160~180km.

 

Anyway, feel free to share any riding experience etc. (Knowledge is power)

This is my 5th trip up but this time going up alone though. (Just came back to Singapore after staying in Japan for almost 3 years)

back in 2000, the ns highway had much less traffic and thai rds not too bad. 13 years on, ns seems crowded. cant even have an endless empty highway disappearing in the horizon. many cars and heavy vehicles. ave speed had reduced from 200 to around 140.

Bombing today at Dannok @ 1:40pm Thailand time.

In front of Oliver Hotel.

Was supposed to go that hotel to meet a friend around 2pm+ when he send me a message using LINE saying,

Road from Dannok to Hatyai is closed.

Can only go back Singapore but there is a 2km jam...

I can't even go Dannok as well...

Hi guys, just reach sg from my holiday in Australia. Anyway I lead a 4D3N Hatyai ride some GTR's riders, was doing 180-200 all the way from sg to sadao. We made it in 6 hours including breaks, from 2330 hours-0530 hours. Smooth riding all the way, hope this coming trip will be as fun !!!

6 hours is very fast indeed. probably I am out of the 200 range since some years back after opting for dual purpose. now slow and ez and thai border will be 9hrs away.
