Have a good rest the night before you start your long journey, take it slow and steady, be alert at all times and you will be alright... enjoy your trip...

Be prepared with advance cash. Don't put them all in one place in case u drop your wallet.. Touch wood.. Make sure your bike is in tip top running condition, tires, brakes, chains and sprockets, lights(!!!!), wheel bearings.

Bring some spare spark plugs, puncture repair kit.

Emergency contact numbers towing and friends etc.

wear proper gears jackets boots gloves.. Wet gear also goes without saying.

MP3 if you want to kill the boredom.

Other than that is your navigations, maps or otherwise.

And as others have said, have good rest and be alert for fast vehicles.

Without this, even with all the above prepared your ride will be very taxing on you mentally as it'll be roughly 5-6 hours ride from door to door.

P.s. Is this your first ever ride up the NSHW?

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

Just bring more money.

Money can solve most problems.

It's can also bring great pleasure.

*remember buy travel insurance*

The only reason why I'm not laughing with you is that I prefer laughing at you.

Muahahahahaha!!!!!!

On a more serious note....

RXZ is a 2 stroke bike, make sure to have enough 2T oil for the trip, and don't over stress the little engine. A piston seize on the NSHW is no joke.

Watch out for crosswinds, especially nearing Klang Valley. Overtaking big vehicles or kena overtaken by very fast cars also will have crosswinds so be ready for a "shove" when overtaking/overtaken.

When in KL lock your bike, even old bikes can be stolen for joy rides in KL.

Beware of pickpockets and like what pipipapipu says bring more money, it can bring you great pleasures!

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

put a capful of 2T in each full tank when u top up petrol ..to make sure ur piston is not starved of 2t to cool it down.......and have fun and drop by sentul...the so called 2 stroke heaven in kl...!...shld take abt 4 hrs....

I ride at 70km/hr only...please please dont blow2 at me or overtake me dangerously....wait i change into Incredible Hulk n dont know why my little baby bike will always be ahead of u if u do that

I also might be going KL alone but they said pretty dangerous. So the advise is never ever travel at night.
