i paid 2.4k for it including respray and insurance. good price? btw wat does lay up mean?? means the bike got no owner then the shop applied for this? be careful of? anything i need to take note when i get the bike?

I think it is an ok price. Don't worry too much since you have already purchased it.

As for Lay up, means the bike no need to pay road tax and put aside...cannot ride on public road. You need to take note of the fuel lines like what Dan has said...they do leak after a while and need proper replacement.

Hey, some guy offered to sell me a NSR125 for $200, running condition but the fairing needs a fair bit of work, spider you think you can help me make it into a track beast? Or at least something to keep up with the Kawasaki's and the Aprilia 125?

well if its quiet i can insert some more thing inside here. i think buying the DNA as a mean of transport is really a big NO-NO. i'm staying in Jurong and schling in Woodlands, to and fro, cause me half a tank of gas. Haha. totally not for me. but a showcase, well people do envy us.

 

i just need proper mods to make mine king of pickups. i wanna that. haha.

 

there's this time last week a stupid old honda civic almost knocked me down. kanasai.

 

and a taxi honked me.

 

and i almost scraped the road.

 

well, sharing my experience of riding DNA for two weeks. haha.

Dying, a full tank should last you about 180-190km, I seriously think your air filter must be really dirty thus increasing your fuel consumption...

Ya, the same bloody place you told me my bike burnt down! @ss la you, scared me till my balls shrink, anyway, I am getting a new GPR mount as the on supplied bloody gave way under the stress of the turbo charged vibrator...

Managed to find someone seriously keen in my DNA, paying 3k down and $500 later, offer comes with a free paintjob IN JOHOR.

 

I might be getting the Kawasaki KLE400.

DON'T GET THE KLE la bro!!!! Sux!!! Insurance freaking expensive! Spares are close to none locally!!! Why your choice all so off-beat one?? haha :sweat: If you want enduro, there's alot of other bikes in the 400cc range la.. NOT KLE!!!! Trust me dude... Get an XR4 MUCh better.. Less problem and maintenance with better resale value. Just my SG$0.002..

And one more thing guys, Pls buy the freaking damn almost-mint Malossi Digitronic Racing CDI and Malossi Gear Up kit off me lah... haha..

 

Its making me sick by looking at them sticking like a sore thumb amidst my pile of 2 stroke stuffs.... Hope to find them a good home for a little quid.. Leylong leylong ah...
