What makes this shop commendable? (give details..)

Was recommended by friends that Ah Siong is good at R1 2001, when down in hope tat i can get by carb service/tune by him.

As last week i have change to micron pipe at his shop which i brought from another person and my carb have NOT BEEN SERVICE IN A YEAR, Reach the shop at 11am hoping that he can service my carbs. He told me that come back at abt 4 to 5pm to take my bike. As i have nothing to do so just waited, i believe i was first to reach the shop that day as i did not see any other customers around.

People come and go and he was busy with ppl, doing Dyno run, fixing Pipe etc. as he as busy so i then fiddle with the things on my bike then until about 2 plus he then help me to open my oil tank, i walk over and he said that "carb is not dirty no need to wash" but i told him 1 year nvr wash already but he said its clean no need to wash, he will check my TUNING FOR ME . so i said ok ,ask him to take out my air filter n i wash myself, he say let him wash the air filter but as i saw that he was busy i started to wash it myself using my own K&N liquid and Oil. After washing and dry, he ask me to put the air filter near my bike, later he will fix for me but see that he was busy, i put back the air filter and fix the air box back on my bike n waited for him. After a while he walk over screw my air box and put back my Oil tank then started to assemble my damper....... DAMM i was thinking wasnt he going to check my TUNING? so i asked him "arent you going to check my TUNING?" he then started my bike , hear the sound and said "your tuning is ok, is gd" and ask me " any issue, when riding the bike" i told him "no, no major problem or issue" then he said "no need to tune, the bike is ok" i keep looking at the ideling and he said look at the ideling does not tell you anything. i just replied "ok". n walk off to toliet and wash my hand.

After coming back from the toliet, he ask me to go upstairs to pay money. i when up and saw that i was charge $25 for service charge. i was thinking "WAT E F" but had no choice but paid. When downstairs took my bike, with an angry heart and when off.

i swear that i would nvr go there again.

Told me will service my carb and gave me stupid excuse to snoop me ended up paying $25 for nothing, if not free, why not tell me in the first place instead let me waited for hours or is it that servicing a carb and tune the bike which charge $70 bucks is not worth the job?

If i have listen to him and return at 4 to 5pm would i have got cheated by them? telling me that my bike was service while it was not?

I have just put in street legal endcan and that fellow dare to say that no need to tune without even using the tuning device.....hahaha wat type of "Famous" mech is this..... by listening to sound will know no need to tune? He though R1 is a 2b 2 stroke bike ah..

And that stupid FAT mech, borrow the tools from them and that fellow show F UP face and said "OI Borrow the thing Put Back properly OH" while i was putting back the tools. As if i own him money.

Haizzz vry dissappointed................

Hello,

How come nobody talked about Wills motor?

I've heard that a real good mech just started work at Will Motor. His nick is Ah Meng. Formerly from Sporting Motor. I've let him do a check on my bike and i must say, i'm impressed by his care towards my bike.

But i've not let him do any big/heavy servicing. so i don't know about the quality. anyone knows?

Personally, i feel that for those small small servicing, any motor shop mechs have the ability to do an acceptable job. It's only a matter of getting chopped or not... ;)

Wills motor at bedok ind park?

Upx for them!! :cheer:

my fren juz trade his SP for a Vtec II, the boss veri frenly and took his FU sp for 3k!! the vtec II was quoted 7.5k FV plate.. real good deals man :thumb: .. bike had no problem n thier 2nd hand bikes are in veri gd condition! upx!

How happy are you overall? BAD

Was there at the said date and was completely unhappy with the way the salesman (wearing spec) reacted and treated. Do I have to ask triples of time so loudly and got zero answers from you while you were intermitently busying replying to a customer?

After standing there stupidly for 2 minutes and kept asking the same questions over and over again while you were busying entertaining (apparently taking rubbish) existing customer. You still have the face to ask me... ANYTHING ELSE. Do I sound like a mosquito tone?

Well... Thats the way how popular it was in SBF.

Thanks for the SERVICES & REPLIES! My friends were infact VERY disappointed with your services provided. And I truthfully believe that words fly high and far.

I'll vouch for this as I was there with Hoho. The salesman was completely unprofessional(and rude too). He made the four of stand in front of him like idiots. We're not asking for much. The least he could do was to treat us with proper respect by answering our questions. He wasn't engaged with anything when we approached him to ask what's the interest like for the bikes there. We came up to him and asked "Hi what's your interest like?" and he bloody pretended not to hear & f'ng disregarded the four of us who were standing RIGHT IN FRONT of him. What the f*ck? If he didn't hear us(highly unlikely), he would have definitely noticed us standing right in front of him, right? Wrong. Asked again and before Hoho managed to finish asking the question, the salesman interrupted him by greeting a customer loudly and ignored us completely. He proceeded to talk alot of c*** with the customer(who was probably there to pay instalments). After a few minutes of standing in front of him, waiting for him to finish talking in the hopes of him entertaining us. He looked at us and asked "Anything else?"

:faint:

Suffice to say, we simply walked out of the shop without uttering a word.

I really do hope this is a one-off thing as I wouldn't like to see another potential customer getting the same treatment. Really spoilt our day.

Wholly. I cannot agree more with Chipmunk.

He was the only cocky and arrogant ones that I had met and encountered throughout my motorcycling bike sourcing years.

I mean, who the hell does not know that there is a website to check the actual transfer fee costs in LTA webby? Even Southern and Leong Seng were very humble enough to tell us, explained carefully and thoroughly.

Same la bro.

Transfer fee can be known/found using the webby. Unless you are honest to tell us inclusive of administration (I doubt so) charges. Bike price is at average (same as a price of a isolated bike shop somewhere around serangoon too) but too bad he didnt tell us the interests and agreement fees (perhaps he knew cannot cheat us anymore)... OTR becomes only bike price because of the NTUC premium thingy. Who does not know the 3rd party can only be agreed by the motortiam on the yes/no thingy again for hire purchase. And too, there is a webby to check on 3rd party premium too.

Till here.... DOT
