Motovation Frame Sliders

 

Yo guys, tis is a painful lesson tat i learnt n wun make d same mistake again. As u all know i met wif an accident d previous week but my damages were not closely examined. Only recently i had d chance 2 do tat aft d surveyor had taken d pics of my damaged bike, and tis discovery really shocked n sadden me even more....

 

In d accident, my bike landed on d right side of my bike without much sliding. D frame slider was pulled out frm d mounting bracket (tats not d worst part). D bracket was forced back n 1 of d securing point had a chain reaction wif my engine housing which cracked d engine housing screw mounting point. Now hv 2 change a new engine housing as wel. (below d pics speak 4 itself).

 

Tats my lesson....but if u hv frens using d same frame slider bracket, tel them abt tis unless they wana go thru wat i went thru.

Bro Alf, I believe frame sliders are functional only when the bike falls and slides. If the bike falls on top of the slider with the brunt of the bike's weight on it, of course what you see on your bike, happens. The bracket too is not sturdy enough to withstand such weight. Never mind, just claim more from the other party or your comprehensive insurance coverage. That is, if you are covered...

haha..dun like tt say leh bro. im fine, nw workin hard coz nw crisis sia, scared kena retrench...lolx. neh neh call u a few weeks back u didnt ans my call still dare to say. wanna ask u for coffee coz im at tiong bahru area.
