Sparkz speedo problem...........pls help.......

Pls any kind soul pls help me...my speedo dunno y suddenly cannot move...fuel guage still ok but now I spotted only the speedo suddenly cannot move...I dunno y lor...it just suddenly cannot move...I ride pass the speed cam I so scared lor...cos I dunno wat is my speed lor......can any kind soul PLS help me...I go motor shop the mechanic there without looking just say I need to change the whole speedo meter...but my friends say its just the wiring problem, but I really dunno how to fix lor...pls help me... ( Pls do PM me for the details cos I might not able to look through the message here)
