Does LTA erase our Traiifc Offences after a specific time?

Hello Bros,

I was slap with a illegal exhaust modification summon recently. Does anyone knows if our records will be erase ( or reset to zero ) after a few years?

Or they have our full history of offences forever. Like if one day you are caught with illegal exhaust again after 3 years. Is this consider "first" time offense again...Ha!!

Points are reset after 12 months from date of offence, but as far as records go, I'm quite sure they keep it tagged to your driver's licence as long as you have it.

Record wise .. Maybe u ask them..

They will have your record. If not how they identify repeat offenders.

 

I did hear before it 5 years as well. Best is to check with them.
