Hi simone82 thanks for your advice I've decided to switch to ssdc. I saw cdc opened some more slots till November but none in the slots I can attend. Lucky I only attend the Defensive riding theory lessons and circuit orientation at cdc and didn't waste so much time there

Yup it's common knowledge that CDC is the slowest cos of the super limited slots. SSDC and BBDC pretty much almost everyday can go for lesson.

Get out of CDC as soon as you can.

Class 3 - 24 Jan 2006 - Lancer, Impreza TS, Impreza WRX

Class 2B - 28 October 2010 - SP, KRR

Class 2A - 26 March 2012 - CBR400

Class 2 - 6 June 2013 - Suzuki Hayabusa, GSX-R600

One question for seniors here. I was at Lesson 1 mini - circuit yesterday and I find that my turning tends to be too wide. When I turn at a corner I'll be on gear 2 and I'll close the throttle to keep the speed low. Should I instead continue with throttle but use foot brake to keep my speed manageable? How can I make my turn more accurate instead of a wide turn?

For the mini circuit, close throttle earlier and brake a little with foot brake. Make sure you are at the outer part of the lane before turning and turn a little earlier. Loosen your arms and don't lock those elbows... you need to relax to turn... you tense up and the arms cannot bend to turn.

Worst come to worst if you feel its too fast and slowing down might cause the engine to die, just drop to first gear, half clutch and throttle more. :)

38/50 riders passed today! Didn't expect to be one of them cos my circuit was quite unstable.

Still on lesson 1, going for 3rd try at Lesson 1 next Wednesday. Wasn't good at the last part where they want you to stop, move about 1 bike length and stop then move 2 bike's length and stop again. Either braked too hard or wobble, guess need more practice.

Ic.. No worries bro. Get your foundation up first. Just try to throttle more and slowly release half clutch. It help for the wobble.

Brake too hard usually is at the hand brake. I had that issue too. So I use foot brake first then followed by hand brake, so won't have the "knee-jerk" effect.

Now ride in real, if foot brake too much will fish tail though.

Loosen elbows, and eye point too.
