I would say earthworms the best baits for fresh water prawning. but then again its bit costly. the best place to get it is at bishan prawning pond. comes in those take away contianer with a few inside. small worms for $10. and big worms $12. just head up to the counter if need to buy. And where is this place *aroozoo* never heard the place before? anyone care to share more about the place and how to get there? cause i live at serangoon. Thanks!:p

Been there once, dun really like the place. 3 small ponds. Low ceiling. But the good thing is, can catch "mini lobster" which is not easy.. spend quite a while before I caught 1..

hey experienced prawn fishers, does anyone has any preference over which prawn farm to go to? in terms of atmosphere and catch rates? me and gf went twice to Bishan to prawn, and dropped by farmart to take a peek, how come the farmart one seemed to be so tiny?

Went to Farmart to prawn yesternight, think there's a lot of prawns inside. Me and gf quite noob at prawning (2nd time) but still managed to catch 15 prawns for 3 hour slot. not too bad right?

Much better than the first try at prawning at Bishan.
