i ask b4 liao. he say dun have 18inch for tt900. i dun really wan to change rims. but my rims need to respray... which choice better?

my bike has alot of probs but i have slowly repaired them once it appears. The worst was my chain came out Loyang flyover. I juz clutched in and roll down the slope to tampines ave 7. Got it fixed.

 

Recently my fren say he suspect my conrod is loose and i almost gave up on the bike because its barely 2 mths old and at least once or twice every mth go workshop. theres always something that needs to be paid for. I asked my military outrider instructor to hear my engine and he said its ok. Theres a vaccuum sound thats due to no air filter for my bike. i ride MP honda cbx 750cc also not so many problems. except must push start the bike at times cos battery flat. damn heavy lah 400+kg.

 

Anyway i still stick with my rxz. my bike fuel consumption is VERY BAD. Max could only reach 200km full tank. Imagine i go from yishun to kaki bukit to and fro around 3 days finish. FULL TANK! So i went to the shop i bought my bike told him about the fuel. He had his mech check and said my jet size was 250 so he changed for me 2nd hand jet for free size 210 (according to him that is rxz standard size) and wash my carb (using some of v power racing petrol. is that allowed?). But the fuel consumption is worse nw. about 180km only full tank. And sometimes hard to start the bike also after left for 2-3hours.

 

I think i need to send the bike for servicing. My dad told me he will bring me to yishun industrial. He always go there. His bike 6 litres can last about 230km. Which is about 38km/l. So i was just wondering..

 

1) do i go for full service or just the carb?

 

2) my bike does not have an air filter. how much is one and wad brand? i just need one thats gd enuff. no need to be so high end.

 

3) my bike does not have a mainstand. how much does it cost to fix it?

 

4) my seat cant be locked. damn the shop i bought from. he told me to pay around $20 if i want it to be fixed. crap right.. he should do it for free what. i should have checked thoroughly man.

 

5) my jet size is 210 (according to e shop its rxz standard size). is it true?

 

6) is it possible if no air filter my fuel consumption alot? how to get this fuel consumption problem rectified? im still in NS and i cant tahan pay $150 petrol per mth. I go JB only during weekends.

forgot to mention he used the petrol from my tank. means he used my v power racing.. is that allowed? i thot he should use his own stuffs.. well maybe thats why its free eh? my bro say no such thing as free in this world..

Kesihan lah lu..........last time my zed also got alot of problem........ spent alot of money to fix it.....lesson learn....zed is a d.i.y kind of bike but in your case.....i nvr seen your bike....so don't really know the problem....... why don't u meet up wif some of the guys in this thread........i believe they can at least find most of the problem.......

 

 

your mechanic also mcm siak aje.....why don't u go to lorong bapok or agl....the shop in the middle of the lane.....either ramesh or xing hock....... they are darm good mechanics........

juz bought a 2nd hand rxz from a crappy seller..

change e brake pump n caliper... cost me SGD$120...

75rm? hmm in sg change $20only.. or you mean 75rm for both the seat and the ignition switch? btw.. no one really noes what to do with the fuel consumption of my bike eh?

woah good good! i think i go after i rectify my fuel problem. so at least i wont have to waste money on petrol. fuel very important.. my bike like eats up petrol like car..

 

which shop to do that? any?

hey bubu...haha first handed RX-Z is the last choice la...still looking around the sg shops...none seems to have a Z in good condition lei..and some the price is sky high for that bike...tht time i ask at Bukit Merah there...FQ plate he quote me OTR 2.5k... -_-III hmz...so i just thinking if really no choice get a first handed lor...at least new bike..also assured less problems...not totally NO problem...but...not so troublesome ma...Really love the Z look and sound! cant wait to offload my spark to this beauty! haha..

mostly bike shop dun have e o-ring wat u call rubber thingy.

u try hardware shop ard ur hse or sungei rd area

consider mine lor... FR plate built from scratch... everything new.. i can sell it below 2k... maybe ard 1.6 - 1.8. but muz after 9th of jan. coz i cannot ride my cub now.

i have already changed almost everything to make the zed look like new.

 

things not yet changed, pipe and seat only. change liao will look totally new. of course a good wash too.
