Recently my fren say he suspect my conrod is loose and i almost gave up on the bike because its barely 2 mths old and at least once or twice every mth go workshop. theres always something that needs to be paid for. I asked my military outrider instructor to hear my engine and he said its ok. Theres a vaccuum sound thats due to no air filter for my bike. i ride MP honda cbx 750cc also not so many problems. except must push start the bike at times cos battery flat. damn heavy lah 400+kg.

 

Anyway i still stick with my rxz. my bike fuel consumption is VERY BAD. Max could only reach 200km full tank. Imagine i go from yishun to kaki bukit to and fro around 3 days finish. FULL TANK! So i went to the shop i bought my bike told him about the fuel. He had his mech check and said my jet size was 250 so he changed for me 2nd hand jet for free size 210 (according to him that is rxz standard size) and wash my carb (using some of v power racing petrol. is that allowed?). But the fuel consumption is worse nw. about 180km only full tank. And sometimes hard to start the bike also after left for 2-3hours.

 

I think i need to send the bike for servicing. My dad told me he will bring me to yishun industrial. He always go there. His bike 6 litres can last about 230km. Which is about 38km/l. So i was just wondering..

 

1) do i go for full service or just the carb?

 

2) my bike does not have an air filter. how much is one and wad brand? i just need one thats gd enuff. no need to be so high end.

 

3) my bike does not have a mainstand. how much does it cost to fix it?

 

4) my seat cant be locked. damn the shop i bought from. he told me to pay around $20 if i want it to be fixed. crap right.. he should do it for free what. i should have checked thoroughly man.

 

5) my jet size is 210 (according to e shop its rxz standard size). is it true?

 

6) is it possible if no air filter my fuel consumption alot? how to get this fuel consumption problem rectified? im still in NS and i cant tahan pay $150 petrol per mth. I go JB only during weekends.

u can always do evrything back to default.maybe ur block,exhuast pipe,etc etc had being mod b4.try changing every thing back to default will save u from problem and headache:smile:

my bike will stall...

planning to change my full body kit too... how much will it cost?

so long no new problem occurs... then i will be a happy man and try to make it nicer and keep the bike for longer use...

Guys my full tank plus reserve can go 200km only.... after full servicing my bike drink petrol like drink coke...i noe my mainjet 220... but b4 servicing can go 250-280km... wats the prob?

this is exactly what i am facing.. mine jet size was 250.. then change to 210 become worse.. anyone have any idea why is it like that? it is a mystery some of us are still trying to solve..

did u change to malaysia fuel tank??? we 3 bike have same problem after changing to new malaysia fuel tank, gauges full only at 3/4 mark, had to take out and readjust the float

the fuel guage on my meter when stationary is still not showing the correct fuel line most of the time. muz shake my bike. gotta get it rectified again.

Same here la...if my bike pump full tank..it shows only a lil bit passed the halfway mark...do i need to adjust dia punya float?JB leh buat ah?

alrite let us know what happens.. i also think my fuel meter like got problem. i pump until the brim it goes to F but when i ride.. it goes above F. weird..

why no one wants to answer me....

anyway... to prevent that from happening, what i do is to throttle alittle and down gear to 1 from neutral...

but still wish to know the cause of the problem and do necessary repair...

Hey guys, where do you guys go to service your bikes huh? Think my current bike shop not so great at fixing RXZs... And I don't think I want to go to JB, pls help, thanx.
