aku rasa 22mm ke 24mm..lupe plak..ala just go bike shop and say wanna buy spark plug opener for rxz..they know what size.

 

bro,fyi catalyzer bike shud use catalyzer stock pipe.cnt use 3bs pipe..inspection failed!

 

hah?inspection fail?sapa blg?more than 50% of caty rxz-ers using 3BS pipe..those using caty pipe i see usually apek2 or those who dont bother about pipe..

 

furthermore...unless if see the plate or serial number..whether that bike is japan,malaysian,or thailand model is virtually unknown unrecognisable.

Last time I used to ride the Japan model, one long black pipe ..all stock.

Now I riding Catalyzer..all stock also..somehow I feel the power like reduce alot leh.

Then yesterday go find mechanic..ask me change 3BS piple..might improve. Looks like no chance liao..****..dont wana mess with LTA.

Maybe go rebore...I come across a thread Unique Motors offering big bore kit..$380..sounds ex to me also.

 

Im not asking for superb performance..just tat the newer model really like lose out alot to the japan model leh.

 

no offence but if ur not asking for superb performance,no need to go buy big bore or rebore,pipe might play a part in performance but overall there is a lot of factors that involves in performance making.

 

so u cant really say that ur japan model is better just becoz of lemang pipe that u use..theres a lot of factors really.

 

if u just wanna feel good riding ur rxz and not looking for speed or ride like a devil..just use the comfortable sprocket size ratio,if possible use small bore,thats below 1.00 block.use standard carb with

big main jet n pilot in accordance to ur block bore.that means with the correct setting.

 

if u know those combinations,ur bike will feel good n can go quite fast without worrying about piston seizure or anything else..

 

and yeah,whatever pipe that u use,as long as it is standard pipe,lta wont mess with u.

just try and do those things first slowly one by one,if ur not satisfied and want more power,then u do the illegal mods(port carb or use other bike's carb,port block,skim header,chamber pipe..etc2)

Hi, bro LTA will not bother u as long as ur 3BS is standard, as for the bore rite no need jus changeur carb needle to panther n ur oil jet n pilot jet to .... den u will know how the performance

 

bro, any advice on where to get the suzuki panther needle locally? been looking for one but most shops don't carry them, thanks in advance

Hello fellow RXZ owners,

 

My RXZ is having a stutter and rough acceleration between 5000 and 6000rpm. It does this even after it is properly warmed up. It's not a major problem but it is fairly irritating.

 

What should I do? Have the carbs cleaned?

Hey guys I need help, according to many pple my RXZ shud be fast but I feel that it's performance is not according to my riding style. I can hit 180km/hr no prob but the thing is I do not ride that fast (my Bro did a 180 on my bike and he weight well over 100kg). I find that even though it can hit Top Speed, but it's pick up is bad and wen coming up slope very asthmatic. I get mileage of 23 km/litre and I only ride up to 80km/h (running in, juz full overhall).

 

According to wat I know my block has been ported, pipe fully chamber, block size 0.75, card standard. So wat is your advise, my mech said change pipe to standard should be Okay. But I want a 2nd opinion as I find it very frustrating that I am clocking 23km/litre and my bike's pick-up is like a turtle. 4-stroke bike leave me far behind effortlessly. I find that I do not need that Top speed but more torque and pic-up wud be better.

 

Btw I also have that stutter/jerking at 5 - 6 thousand RPM

 

Another thing is if I have juz done overhaul, my block should be very quiet am I rite to say so?? Coz mine still noisy btw I did Overhal in Singapore.

Yeah man. Frustrating. I am guessing the carburetor and jets need to be washed and cleaned. Also need to re-tune the air-fuel ratio.
