bros anybody heard about mito-x shocks? is it better or yss better?

Hi guys, i need help. Currently my rxz headlight and backlight "blackout", I suspect that there is wiring problem. If i were to change the whole wiring set, how much will it cost(plus workmanship)?

 

same situation here bro, but when you change new bulb its ok for a few days then same problem occur..tell me your solution if you are successful. thanks in advance

The last time I bought my wiring for old 5 speed rxz, it cost me $85 I think. DIY. Do take note tat there are 2 types of rxz wiring, one for old model and the other one for caty rxz. And then of coz it branches out to original and local ones. Hehe...

Nvr tried Mito X one before but saw a couple of them on the road. Ther was one SP4 using tat brand and the bike keeps bobbing up and down everytime it hits a bump. He and his pillion was travelling on the PIE. I can see tat it's a Showa replica Mito-X coz it got "Mito-X" all over wen he passed by me. Kesian tgk diorg, dah mcm see-saw... Hehe... YSS? My current shock. Still new, no complain yet. Althgh u can noe tat it's not tat stiff compared to KYB wen u corner down low and fast... Mayb u ought to invest in Makida Bronze? So far the best shock I ever used and it dsn't go soft........ Until it leaks oil lah! Lol!!! But it will take years lah......

Mito-x is on par with mikuku and so on. Makida bronze one of the best but after awhile its abit bouncy. Bad point is that the springs get rusty if u dont maintain them and u cant service back the suspension.there is 2 different type for makida bronze. The difference is the load it can carry. The black makida is good, much cheaper then bronze. Or u can consider original ybr suspension. If u got the cash go for koni. U will love the way ur butt get smacked by the seat....

mcm makida bronze gak..adeh mampui langgar hump..tah camner org2 yg pakai gantung showa tapi setting utk s4 tu....jln pat strip boleh muntah2 aku rasa..hahaha

Nono... Tat's just my opinion aje. Or from wat I saw. Basically it's all up to ur budget, the oulook and performance/comfort...

Unless u don't care abt feeling every potholes and goes for outlook and brand, I say go for it...

Mikuku is the yellow spring with canister. It wasnt about the speed hump. I tynk its due to the heavy pillion i have sometimes in the past.

Hi guyz,i've been reading your Group Forum for quite some time. Really interesting,you guys are really great & helpful..

Sounds like a daylight robbery after all its a rxz... With that price can go for a spec 1.

i'm guessing it's the old one re built..a little sporty and can achieve high top speeds..

 

even if its rebuilt,even if it can achieve top speed,ive done my fair share of ask around,how much to rebuilt an rxz,and how much is it to make it race ready,its barely touching $2000,heck i think its about $1500-1600..im talking about an road unworthy rxz..where all the parts are so broken up n cant even move..if its roadworthy the cost is just about less than $1k to make it race ready.parts are changed at JB of course.

U want to get new block?? Thats gonna cost a bomb. Its about $500+ for a new block. Try to grab a 2nd hand block from the scrapyard cost $180. If u really need to. Top overhaul as in open up ur block and piston to clean it ??

if change piston one set and gasket all n rebore just maybe about $80-90 tops..need a few sets of tools...n good hands..oh..thts DIY..
