any bros' out there knows why when i come to a complete stop in gear one, it's so hard to kick up to neutral unless i rev abit..the problem just happened today..

 

 

 

add on 1: any bros' out there can recommend what sprocket size to use for normal pickup and more top speed..

Guys i need help ! Where can i Fix/Rethread my Drain Plug thread? Shop name & Price

 

Today 2nd time change EO . My Drain Plug cannot really be tighten untill the end. Now i use the white tape for Pipe to seal my drain plug hope it can last me untill next EO change.

 

Ahakz! Same case here. Also using white tape. So far so gd in holding bck those boilin EO in...

Besides wat the rest said, having too much of an EO will cause tis prob too! So chck the amount of ur EO before pouring in; usually I'll hav my Z runnin on lesser than the recommended amount whch is 600ml...

 

For sprocket wise, I'll leave it to my sprocket man, LOUDNESS, to explain further... Hehehe... XP

yea, suspected EO..cause of the heavier vibrations..but only run 2230km from new EO change till today..later would go mech have a check..might be changing EO le..

wah thank you thank you i shall take it from u here..cehhh hahhahahaa..wahlau i no expert in sprocket..but i shall share the combination ive used before.

 

ok velocity,sprocket and/or chainwise wasnt very important to me bcoz the good heavy duty sprocket chain is only about rm75-80,so i wouldnt mind changing every 6 months if or longer depending on how u take care of the chain..using too ex chain also like..it doesnt really serve the purpose?unless if ur using bigger class bike..

 

anyway,heres the deal,either u believe it or not,take it or leave it,its up to u bro,during my rxz days i heard of this otai group of rxz uncles somewhere at hougang/toa payoh side using many accessories even ppl in this forum never heard of before,one of them is sprocket combination of 17-42.

 

this combination is superb i tell u,got good pickup and good top speed,both balance,not really stressing the engine on both ends,i could maintain 120km/h at abt 7RPM,i could reach 120km/h very fast.ull notice the benefit of this combination when ur riding uphill..riding constantly at 100km/h on last gear..u dunt need to downshift to climb..u can still gain speed unlike other combination..

i was using 17"rim..depending on ur weight,u might wanna use either 42 or 41 rear sprocket,it may sound very big,but take note of the front sproc..its 17!

 

17 can still fit on rxz no prob..but for sure if u decide to use this n ask the mech to fit in..theyll say ur crazy..it doesnt hurt to try..use the cheap2 sproc chain first lor..its highly recommended IMO cheers

Nah... Its fine. As long as ther's a film of EO ard ur gears and all and nt metal against metal, its fine. U dnt nd to flood the whole engine wif EO! Lol. I've been runnin my Z wif approx 300ml of 20W50 mineral oil. So far so gd, nt much vibrations, u cnt really feel the heat radiation frm the engine and best of all, u cn change EO 3 times frm 1 bottle! Lol! Call me cheapo bt making full use of the $5 plus of EO and lettin ur Z hv fresh new EO once every 1.5 to 2mths, I cldnt ask for more...

 

Now I'm feeling the nostalgic moment here. Imagine high revving all the way to Melaka on the N/S highway and wen u reach ur destination, u just realise tat the Petronas EO tat u just top up yestnite DRIED UP!!!! Lol!!! XP

No no! Petronas nye was 10W40. Wen we wen Melaka, I poured in exactly 600ml, still rmbr. Pelik hw it just vanished into thin air. Sad was tat Petronas just lost a fan aft tat...

helo guys,just wanna find out. when i bought the bike last year, it used to start on 1 or 2 time kick start. but now, its like more than 5 times than it starts. may i noe what are the factors that causes this?

hmmm..i might be able to help..many many..from throttle position all the way to clutch string freeplay, clutch plate, gear setup, piston and block you're cranking, carb, fuel entry, and many..when was the last time you changed you're eo or did a full service..?sometimes when you kick start you can feel you're bike jerking forward a little,that shows neutral and rear wheel plate kinda close..
