Velocity..125z's cdi is just under the seat..its accessible once u unlock the seat..all bike's cdi can take out mah..just that its accessible or not..and oh i didnt say take out the whole spark plug..just the cap that covers the plug..u can twist and take it out..and pray that the thief dont have another cap in hand..haha

 

anyway if u and rayyan want me to take a look i can..anybody wanna have a look at how u wanna take out ur block and piston..feel free to come by at my place when i open up my fren's rxz..the date im not sure..i have to see when my fren free..if any of u are free on the date then can come n i take a look at ur airbox..n can set the 'angin' for ur carb..i cant do the jettings for ur carb eh just the air only..haha

 

and if any of u wanna open block also pls buy top and bottom block gaskets at any bikeshop..and get ready to get ur hands dirty..heh

i know..!by theory...not by practice...haha..conrod need to full overhaul bro...anyway...its not the conrod thats the problem..its the bearing in it and around it that makes the thing shake..conrod just breaks if its not good..

i know..!by theory...not by practice...haha..conrod need to full overhaul bro...anyway...its not the conrod thats the problem..its the bearing in it and around it that makes the thing shake..conrod just breaks if its not good..

hmmm...previously i had a scooter which met wif a minor kissing taxi ass incident..after fork re-alignment, without pillon , my back also swaying..

i went to gemok cina n one of the mechanic inspect my swing arm without dismantling it.

when he move the swing arm left-right motion,there is sum free-play & it is noticeable wit my chain moving up n down.

so i guess it should be the swing arm bush

rm55 for a set of malaysia ones,any idea japan one how much anibody?

ive thought of ways other than locking ur handlebar and sprocket or disc brake how to protect ur bike..i still havent found a wire that could be accessible only by u to disconnect and without re-connecting the wire,the bike cant start..so far i only thought of taking out the spark plug head which connects to the ignition coil..without it cant possible start right?

 

and for 125z ive found that i can just easily take out the cdi and keep it or disconnect the wires as its located just under the seat..and the seat's lock..i believe this will deter thefts?unless the thief has a van and they carry or push the bike to the van..

 

 

 

have reserve switch or no..if tank and meter is original..once the meter reach the redline..its reserve already..3 litres of fuel left..and once it past the red line and going the leftmost side..and it stopped moving..that means the bike will be thirsty soon..if u understand ur bike well i dont think u need the reserve switch..IMO..its redundancy..

 

 

 

if ur airbox still untouched..just take out the filter and break the wall thats blocking the air from directly go to the carb..thats the first step,second is to take out the chimney..third..either drill holes or theres one other thing u can do without drilling and not taking the whole cover out but still gets more air inside it..i just donno how to explain..

 

nvr take the whole cover out..rxz is not the same as 125z..it wont make the bike 'go'..itll only destroy the top engine in the long run..

 

umm..but what do u wanna achieve by modding the airbox eh if i may ask?speed or the sound?

i recently changed my swing arm bush. and voila my swing arm doesnt shake anymore. (the 55rm one) it's good enough already.

sorry bout the H. yes it should be 3 years back. cos i've finished my national service and have started working for nearly 7 months now.

Yamaha RXZ 135 2008- till present

Super Four Spec1 2011- till present

GSXR K8 600 2012- till present

Spark 135 2013- till present

err..aiya..this one i learned from a mechanic at jb and confirm it again myself by looking at the service manual..hahaha..im sure if ur interested enough with automotive ull study abt ur bike slowly..2 stroke is fairly easier than 4 stroke..and if that conrod can be easily taken out..im very happy sia..conrod at agent is selling at $12!unfortunately u need to replace the whole crankfshaft..which is about $160.. -_-'

ok i try explain to my best of knowledge,and what i heard from many ppl,then u needa reconfirm again what i said coz some ppl may have different opinions..

 

whole airbox means ur using power filter isit?

 

itll destroy the engine in the long run because,ur air intake is damn a lot,and by doing that,u also need to increase ur fuel intake right?if not no power,engine will seize too.

 

senang kata..the engine is made to withstand a certain amount of fuel/air intake inside the combustion chamber which is inside the block.there is a tolerance level above the maximum limit whereby it can still withstand and operates..once it is beyond this level..itll simply fail beyond repair..means the block cracks or simply breaks..

 

if rxz is made to only accept 135cc of fuel/air mixture..u can somehow increase to 150cc for example..and still ok..but if u increase to 180cc..it cannot stand anymore..too much..

 

i knew a person who transform his super 400cc to about 520cc..the engine cant survive...the block cracks and the bike scrapped..too powerful already..

 

no need to take the whole thing out..put it back..the acceptable mod for me is to drill holes on the cover..even then its unnecessary..

 

anyway i hope u understand the concept..and whoever have the better understanding n knowledge pls do correct me if im wrong and add on if needed..heh

hahas..bike above 10 years old , the kill switch don't know why confirm become some old old stuff..it's okay..it won't affect the feature of it..

oh from what I know it's my mechanic took out the airbox on the right side like a triangular shape which i supposed is the whole airbox? yes for the fuel mixture my intake is really alot to meet the air intake that's why my full tank is running a mere 200 only. my block size 1.25 main jet if im not wrong 210/220. that's as far as I know about the setting of my bike. by this setting it wont destroy my bike in the long run right....

huh..main jet 210/220??210 is standard right syam??and 220 is just above standard jettings..im not sure about the sizes..

 

if the mech only take out that one then its only the airbox cover..not the whole airbox..eh go fix back and do the right setting seh..no right mech would recommend taking out the cover..even rxz use in race i think also nvr take out airbox cover..if im not wrong ur bike now no pickup right?

 

my recommendation is just fix back the airbox..but if u think its ok and u like it then choice is urs..for me..i have other ways to mod the bike without having too much air going in..and its only a few things to disturb..

huhhh nooo...no la not an overhaull..IF i have the tools then i can do..even if i can do i dont think u wanna be my guinea pig right..like i said..i know by theory,not by practice..hahaha

 

no pls i cant do full overhaul..

 

and velocity..sat evening im working..sorry..haha..sunday only..or weekdays..
