1st and foremost, did you top up your 2T to the fullest? If yes, it's normal for the 2T to spill form the cover eventhough you have the cap on or it might sip through the breathing hole while you riding on bumpy roads. Try top up 3/4 full next time or replace a new cap. If the problem still persist, go and see your mechanic to replace a new 2T container.

 

Most RXZ have problems on fuel meter. Most are not accurate due to wear and tear of the fuel float or using the local meter. Even me myself got this problem and don't bother to repair. Another alternatives, you can estimate your fuel through mileage. To do this, it's the best to have a reserve fuel c***. If your RXZ doesn't have any, fill your fuel into your empty 2T bottle just in case you running out of fuel.

 

RXZ has 13Ltrs tank. Fill your tank full and reset your odometer. Ride as normal till your fuel to reach to the reserve level and see your odometer for the mileage up to reserved level and note down. You can reset the odometer again or just continue to get the mileage from reserved till empty. Fill your tank with the fuel that you kept in the 2T bottle and "slowly" proceed to the nearest petrol station and top up.

 

So now you know your mileage for full 13Ltrs. To get the consumption as in per litre, just add the total mileage and divide by 13ltrs.

 

For me, I always reset the odometer everytime I top up and estimate roughly about +/-250km~260km to reserve depends on my riding style. On reserved I can travel up to +/- 30km. But if I accidently ride till reserved I straight away look for nearest station to top up to play it save. Always stdby at least 1Ltrs of fuel 2Ltrs the best if you want to do the consumption test.

sorry about this.. but when you mean reserved level.. do you mean the red E zone or till the bike jerks when travelling? from what my dad thot me.. reserved level is at the pt the bike jerks quite abit and that u have to switch your fuel c*** to reserve. i only top up to 10litres max as any more will definitely spill out from the tank because almost reach the top. Now my meter needle goes all the way to F. so far can travel at 21km/l. But i still feel that the consumption is abit high.. or its not? Hmm..

 

Btw if i reset the odometer all the time.. how will i actually know or remember i travelled about 3000km, which is about time to change engine oil? sorry.. im really new to my rxz haha. some other rxz who park their bike near mine even told me that my fork is too high.. but my dad says just follow the standard fork height.

hello fello rxz riders,its been quite some time i post in here..i guess there's not much dat i missed..anyway,it have been raining frequently this week n my bike is affected..really dirty..as such,i tot of washing my bike this saturday afternoon,if it doesnt rain,dat is..if any of u guys want to join,u can call me.i provide the basic things but if guys wanna bring some bike polish or chain lube,that will be great koz i dun have them..hehe.btw,im staying in yishun..to bloodybaguz aka bro Lan,sorry cant make it the other day.got family visiting.also would like to see u,bro adyra n bro hypersoul aka Joe to be there.its been so long never see u guys..ok dats abt it,do ride safely guys..cheers!!!

For FQ bike costing $1100 is juz within the price range in the market... But it also depend on the bike conditions and the bike outlook... $1100 otr is consider already cheap if the it is in good condition... How much u get cheated for the bike?

so can get the FQ rite? stock condition, they will respray the frame and engine for me. but in that shop also got a FS for 1700 for me OTR, with new cat body , 01 owner,,,,which more worth?

 

 

its the FR posted in buy sell, i on with him already but next day he say log card missing, what go to do the brake for me, after that totally no reply...
