Yan_Jepun...mine is a 6 speed model...and ya...still thinking..to put or not to put..but more towards the NO side..haha~

 

silly wonka, my fren's RX-Z has got a rear disc brake....not sure where he does it..but not much changes need to be done..so no worries ah...juz the usual stuffs like, adding brackets for the rear brake fluid container...the rear brake pump thingy and all those...but I recommend u not to do it...coz...by squeezing in the brake disc and calipers on the right side of ur swingarm..from the right side and back...ur bike will look kind of in fact...very weird..and given the dual shock suspension..guess...ppl would not notice it much too...and braking power wise...from what my fren says...its the same as ur normal drum brake..hope this helps...:) PLUS! u will be having difficulty to maintain it clean and nice..so after a while..dust...rust..and bla bla...u will find..actually...stock drum brakes are the best...if want outlook..change the chrome cover ah...and get a bottle of TURTLE chrome polish from shell petrol stn...polish it once every week or so...power alrdy...haha~

btw, does the harp need to be changed if i wanted to put the rear disc brake?

cause i using spoke rim and like wasted ar if change harp cause i recently changed my spokes...

I just found out that my 2T pump leak, how much is the cost for new 2T pump or we can just change the gasket itself only? Anybody has change 2Tpump before? :help:

I stil dun get wat u meant by "I put my local pipe on ur bike..then u go buy liao put the pipe..original one..then come back liao change to my bike and then u put back ur own pipe..then the local pipe see if can trade in there or not..." :lol:

Hak! My 2T pump leak b4... Made a mess on e underside on e pipe, was wondering where e oil was coming from....

Change gasket can oredi la if Ur pump stil werkin fine... :goodluck:

every time i full tank, brake and traffic lite, for sure petrol flow out...

heart pain and scare paint work get eaten in process....

Get an 'O' ring at any hardware shop, put it underneath the tank cap. Try get slightly smaller than the rim cause the petrol might expand the 'O' ring. :goodluck:

oraite... thanx for the O rings tips guys...

 

got a question to ask....

 

i send my bike to workshop.

the mechanic hear my engine and say conrod gone case.

then he open up my engine all; found piston and some parts of the engine got burned.

i dont understand how the parts can get burned.

any one like to share thier experince to my senario?
