I have a good understanding of my Z. If something needs fixed, I find someone to do it. I'm a rider and prefer to keep it that way.

 

I don't have the time to fix my bike and search for parts. I'll let the professionals do it.

 

It's a well-spent money for a safe and hassle free ride.

 

Some of you prefer to do repairs DIY style, well no doubt it saves cost. Then again, that is if you know how to fix it and have all the time for your bike.

 

I provide troubleshooting. Some answer are complete, some are not. Well I'm still human. Correct me when I'm wrong. Not just question me and disgrace me.

2T n 4T??currently using BHP 800 EO from jb and penzoil outboard from jb oso...any recommendations on dis?got people tell me penzoil outboard n castrol aktiv is the same.true or not uh?the EO i change in jb cost 40rm sia...quite ex for me bt ramesh say gd..so i follow lor...den the penzoil cost 26rm... oso ex for me...1st time using penzoil not bad but smokey sia my bike...b4 dis i was using castrol aktiv only 16rm cheap for me...

 

tank...i wanna noe how to make my tank fuel cover like tzm or tzr.those flat cover lah.coz my tank problematic sia..even petrol not full to d brim it spurts out when i press my front brakes.when petrol is full even worst,park side or main stand petrol flow like waterfall sia.wasted sia... i tried placing gasket,sillicone n even poxying it still no help so somebody pls enlighten me...

 

uhmm...spark plug.wad kind of spark plug can our Z use uh?i wanted to get a spark plug to keep as spare bt dunno wad type to buy.got fren tell me LAB @ sg got sell g-power plugs for 5bux.heard denso iridium oso not bad bt dunno which model n how much it cost lah.pls uh let me noe..

okok, for 2T n 4T, buy what u can afford, even the cheapest ones also can use, will not damage your bike so dun worry.

as for your tank, i suugest dun pump so much, u roughly gauge just nice can already.

spark plug use NGK B8ES can liao, can also use BR8ES, BR9ES, bottomline is use B8ES is gd n cheap, i use liao very happy:cheeky:

guyz! got a question.. roughly wats da cost for changing fork oil? cuz now my fork starts leaking out susu oreadi..

i change fork oil n seal for $50 in SG!!!

By then I realised, for the price I paid in JB, I can get it done with almost the same price in Singapore. With no hassle of getting stuck at Woodlands and the trouble to ride all the way to JB. Waste time, waste petrol and waste more money.

wohooo~ got debate about DIY & going mech sumore!

huhu~ in my opinion, both got it's pros & cons ah..

 

For me, the pros of going mech to service our bike is, we can see how the mech does the job on our bike.. especially trusted mechs..

we then can learn something from them..

because they have real experience in the bike industry..

The cons is, we really need to spend more $$$ to the mechs because of their servicing etc..

In conclusion, I think that, it's good for newbies like me, to go to mechs first and learn from them.. bit by bit..

As the time goes by, we could DIY on our bike if we really know how to do..

we can also learn DIY from experienced guys in this forum..

Learning is through experience.. So..

if we have problems on our bike, we could explain it here..

We can help each other out.. THat is the spirit we must have among us..

If we think that we have enough skills & experiences, why not DIY? Can save $$$..

But if we think we are not skill enough, no time to DIY our own, afraid if "pandai-pandai" DIY then become worst, then just proceed to our respective mechs..
