can dat tape be used at my tank cap?

i cant pump full tank coz later sure leak frm tank cap..

tot i wanna get a rubber ring-lyke thingy but i dunno where to start..

is it possible to use it for the tank cap?

wait later i go bath my bike i try take some pix.

show u guys where to tape it.

for better understanding.

if still not sure,check wid mR_WhO.

he's d want who gave me the idea.

actually i tried buying gasket n cutting it out.

bt my hands on sissors sux.

end up the gasket is out of shape.

wad i suggest is buy new fuel cap,

den take out the old black washer,

add it to the new fuel cap.

bt i dun warranty if it werks or not lah.

so far the white tape werking well for me.

just tat i nid to re-tape it every now n den when it leaks.

bt still i find it worthy coz 50cents is very cheap.

rather den having my petrol leak on my tank.

flowing down to my tyres.

or even werst got apek mech told me,

last time got 1 of his customer die.

coz the petrol leak den got to his spark plug.

it created a fire n d rider died of burns.

scary sia...

Oh really, are you very sure this incident really take place and did the apek provide you the corect details bout this link???? If it is fo real, i'm also worried althought my tank is working fine. Aniwae, thanks for sharing this info. Hope the rest will have a gud lesson from there especially Mr Handal (he's always having this problem lately)

Guys, i need some help here. Anyone of you knows where to buy Givi bracket head (where you can tilt your box front or back) beside for LAB???? When there just now, he told me that the thing is out of stock. Just wondering where else i can get this thing beside from him. Please advice.

Nolah, there must be a reason why she behave that way. yep. sad to hear tat. anyway my fren's fren bike burn when he skidded and crashed. think the sparks created from the bike and tarmac ignited a fire when fuel is in contact with the spark. if theres this theory la. haha.

and hes trying to avoid a car goin out from a carpark or something ar.

Rusty not a problem, i will have a way to do it (sand paper & spray). To those who read this post, correct me if i'm wrong from LAB can get brand new for $15.00 right???? from wad the apek mech told me is the petrol leak while he riding.

den the petrol got into his spark plug or wad lah.

dat was how his bike caught fire.

i dunno how true his account is.

it was nvr report here or even the news.

its juz an account told to me by an apek mech when i asked him abt my leaking petrol.

anybody got any living experiance oso can share uh kan.
