I then realise the speeometer also spolit. I am not able to switch to netrual gear when I riding except to switch off the engine and on back then I can kick to netural gear. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? I am a noob and do not know all these things? DO u all think I need to change the brake pad too?

go to bike shop n ask them check, or ask ur friend since he is the one who sell u the bike

I got my RXZ yesterday after full service and change of new battery as my friend had not ride for the past 6 months. His horns been stolen and I fixed one new pair foor S$28. Is this cheap. I then realise the speeometer also spolit. I am not able to switch to netrual gear when I riding except to switch off the engine and on back then I can kick to netural gear. bout da speedometer, u ask your bike shop..

bout da neutral gear thingy, mayb your clutch biting point is too near..

try bring it a lil' further..

dis advice is thru my experience..last time i oso got da same prob n did da same thing..

but i'm no pro..:angel:

Any idea change brake pads cost how much. Whenever I using rear brake there will be a scratching sound, is the drum brake have problems? I just do full service at jln Tukang and all these problems start to occur. I feel the free play for the front brake is too much and not efficent.

my gear also like yours, think need to change of EO since i havent changed it for 6000km+.

speedo i think the cable broke ah, try changing the cable. cost $8 or more.

my brake also got screeching sound, dont think any problem but im not sure. hehe. also interested to know how much is the price. cos my brake both not effecient. :angel:

About the speedometer issue, my motorshop change the cable and the speed can reached 30km/h and I am traveling at the speed twice more than it display.

Ask for new speedometer price is at S$130 and is not original one. Is it so expensive? Any one got replace speedometer at cheaper price. Please let me know.. Thanks

Hi,

I am riding RXZ 135 also faced the problem that Speedometer not working at all. I go to motorshop and change the cable the speedometer moved but not according to my speed. I travelling at 70km/h but it show 25km/h. The mechanic said must change the whole meter and cost S$130 and is not original one? Who can help me?

Haus!!! Ler... Kenape nama aku lak!? Tak kena mengene seh! Haha... Anyway, talkin abt racing2 and flyin2 here and ther, I finally learn my lesson today when I kena stop my TP. Was late for work and I just can't ride side by side wif my wife all the way so she give me the sign to go ahead first lah. And I did just tat! Was goin 130km/h when notice a white big bike behind me. Closer look and I knew I was in trouble!:giddy:

 

And so I was escorted to the road shoulder before Paya Lebar. I quickly off my ignition once stopped and was asked for my insurance, driving license and ID. I don't hav the insurance though. Although my earpiece was still stuck in my ear inside my helmet, I decided to play it cool wif him... Turns out he was alrite cause the 1st thing he asked was am I a regular fire biker? Haha... U see, I was wearin my wife's firebike's jacket tat point of time and tat's the first thing he noticed. I smiled to him when he asked tat...:cheeky:

 

Eventhough both of us are at the same side, Home Team riders(eventhough I pretend to be one!) I still got the 150bucks fine and 6 demerit points. But knowin tat he was on our side is wat tat makes me forget abt the wrong doin. He was advising me abt riding recklessly and those "idiots" and female driver which is killing a rider everyday on the road... I salute him....:thumb:

 

All said and done, I said sorry to him and surprisingly a "thank u" to him as well. I waited for him to go off and chase a reckless car before I start my bike and went 130 all the way to work.......:faint:

Izz, regarding the speedometer you try search the garage sales ah. Some times people are selling very cheap. If you are looking for a new one, JB can get for ard 150 to 180 ringgit. You survey first ah. This speedo is the the caterlyzer model one.

 

As for the racing footrest i suggest u get the bracket to make your current footrest like a racing footrest. Can get at JB for 50-60 ringgit.

 

Rims people usually use 17'' ones because it is easy to find tires for this size. Tyres use battlax ah. Can corner deep2. Haha.

The convoy will be from blk (259 tamp st 21) at 1pm to the bride's place at PR (blk 408 Pasir Ris drv 6). den will proceed from PR back to tamp will be about 2.15 to 2.30pm.
