Hi :)

 

About the disc brake, that's right, i got it from A-AN. I would not, EVER, ride with a drum brake again. But then - my RXZ is different from most of yours. As you (and most people) modify (if at all) in a way to make the bike more light and faster - mine is made much more heavy than original and still more power (150 cc, approx. 35 horsepower) and i ride 50% of the time with pillion and also often carry heavy stuff on it, so i need good brakes.

 

The original drum brake is way too weak, and always i need to readjust it.

 

The disc brake (it's oversized, shaped disc) is ideal because it's strong and very easy to control. Plus, in my opinion, it l;ooks a lot better with the disc - without it it looks just like an old, outdated motorbike (or one with no power - only mopeds still come with drums these days).

 

There's a downside too - if stuff breaks, it can get expensive or difficult to get (as you may read my "story" a few pages back, for me especially because i'm in Thailand and can't get any of that stuff here). And, as the RXZ never came with a disc, at least two crucial parts needs to be improvised - the adaptor plate ("bracket") that holds the brake caliper and the one that holds the brake pump. This is probably the reason why the conversion is illegal in SG (in Thailand i can do whatever i want, except for changing the colour!)

 

As to the hubs, A-AN's 125z hubs look great, golden colour. You can also use VRR or TZR rear hub.

PS regarding the "server issue", i experience that, too - very often i can't get in at all, i only see the page top and a message "The server is too busy, please try again later". No problem on MY side.

I would like to say thank u to tis chinese SP rider(drs_0106) for making my long and boring, lone ranger trip to Panjang an enjoyable one. Eventhough we should hav talked to each other much much more earlier, we still got to share lots of stuff and stories together-gether. I really appreciate the company....

 

Not only tat, he even paid for me for the bike wash after our service! Eventhough we just met and talked a few hrs ago!!! Eventhough it's my idea to get our bike washed!!! I am really, REALLY grateful for tat...:bow:

 

Once after passing through the Spore custom, we stopped at the shoulder. We talked a little bit more before we shake hands to each other, saying "nice to meet u" and then hav a lil 1 on 1 drag race before we split up......

i knw lah..but normally if ppl say cb4,dat 1 got fering, den if cb400, the bike oso put cb400. if norm s4, only the honda logo..hmmm..dats wat i knw lah.. hehe jgn lah marah...:D
