the proper term here is fork oil seal.. its best u service and change both oil seal so that if they wear it be at ard the same time..

Hi there Barongan78, i suggest that you check your fork gasket there, possible ada bocor disana. If you want to add fork oil to make it a little bit stiff then it's ok but, to change/topup due to leaking i don't think it's a right thing to do. Kalau dah bocor, how many time you change/topup it will still leak out. Tackle the problem from the root bro, so it will not trouble you again in future. Happy trying!!!

 

fork oil seal is around 35RM per fork.

Its possible.Most bikeshops have for abt 70-80bucks...that is if u r not planning to use the bike for long ah..haha...if u intend to use the bike for more than a year i suggest u buy a 1st hand 1..2nd hand tkde warranty and who noes it can function only for a week??

No point lah bro, if i'm in a difficult situation also, i will still save up to get the new unit. Bukan nak ckp besar, but this thing is important for our machine to travel here and there. Buat sial je kalau our friend here buy from bike shop then it only lasted less than a week kan.. Berasap siol member punya 70-80 bucks. Just my iklas opinion.

The new iu unit is not a flat rate of $155,ade tambah2 sikit ah.They charge for the bracketlah,the 4 special screws and wiring all that.So the total cost will be ard $200 plus if i remember correctly.

then y not diy to run the wiring to cut cost. u dont need to get a new bracket if u have the old one. u want cheap brackets can try the scrapyard macha...

Possible also, when hidden susah nak detect. Install it properly then you see can it be detected... Btw, any charges apply just to check your IU unit???
