Dear fellow RXZ riders,

 

As some of u would noe, I've been plannin for a trip to Thailand since last year... Sad to say I hav to cancel it due to much commitments to my family(senang2 kata, I didn't get the green light from my wifey). BUT I do however got green light to go up north to Ayer Keruh bridge A&W, approx 209km from 2nd link(thank u abg Zamani!). It'll be a one whole day road trip, makan and then CABUT!!! Oh yeah, gonna eat KETAM for dinner too!!! Hehe... Already set a date which is on tis coming 5th Dec(Sat), moving off at 0930hrs. Open to any RXZ riders(be it Zeckers, forumers, Outsiders, whatever u call urself) wif the love of riding ur Z on an open road...

oh..cause my 2t like nvr use much...i pump 3 full tanks but the 2t like use abit only...i scared not enough 2t injected..

what i know is local is y-3 & y-4 made in malaysia, the newer rxz will have this, whereas y-1 & y-2 is made in japan. correct me if im wrong guys

Would like to know what's the available mod to the bike. Terms of performance and sound. For sound I roughly know, which is to operate the pipe (Lemang, 3dB[botol] or catalyzer). But for performance, I'm kinda lost. Carb, 2T, Jetting, Piston? Really lost. I dont felt the smooth even with a fast throttle. Sometimes open too fast felt, bobok. Hope someone can enlighten on this.

not advisable bro, stock is the best if your talking about transportation. if your looking at racing performance maybe u can go and find for the zeckers webpage. they might be able to help you out.

 

all the type that u have mention for pipe can be operated.

open to fast bobok might be your jetting quite big.

 

best to go shop and stick to one mechanic.

anyone bought parts from scrapyard before ? i was thinking of going over to get some ori parts, but dont know how's the price like. would really appreciate if anyone would share their experience(s) regarding this ...

 

scrapyard?? to me its a good place to hang around and also spent if you intend to do diy. but getting ori parts u need to learn how to differenciate them first between the local parts. not all scrapyard sales man knows how to differenciate their products.

 

Scrapyard price is like lelong price..but do take note if the quality of the parts are quite good. they try to sell it a bit higher..but the price will not exceed to the rpice of a bike shop.

 

Here r some of the list for u that can give u a pic wen i redo my rxz

1) seat $ 5- $25

2) Rxz Cat/ Jap cover set $100 ( if plus tank with the same color u jus add $50) total :$150

3) tail light $ 5- $15

4) Headlight plus the frame bracket cat/jap $15-$25

5) block any range frm Y1 to Y3 $150 -$200

6)showa suspension $250 (Vtec 1)

7)Footrest bracket 1 set $ 38- $45

 

There's a lot more just can;t remember some the items price. All price stated above is quite nego if you know how to phys co the scrapyard dealer. Gd luck

 

this must be the prices that u got from sungei kadut only.

for instance footrest bracket at some other scrapyard cost you $10/pc

rxz block size 0.25 at $100.

and etc....

 

where is this scrapyard located ? is it easy to locate ?

use the streetdirectory online to help you out with the address bro. print out the maps and it shouldnt be a problem to find them. most of it located in west side.

not reccomended to me... i hate going there becos of the mosquito, super high price which sometimes u pay abit more and get a new one. just chuck the parts like junk everywhere and not arranging it up nicely.

blocks come in malaysia or japan made for y3 and y4. but u need to know how to differenciate them thru the colours. local block thru their serial number.

Hm tis 2 plces is also recommeded..and they sold most of the items by pieces instead of sets. but its far..Aniwe if wanna diy ur Z''s.. Then its oky eventhough its far. Rite ?

hey...err i just fell after i fishtail at a bend....my bike now feels abit weird. I dunno maybe its me. Anything i should check on my bike? btw i am fine just afew bruises haha...lucky

hello zeckers,ive come in peace..recently ive been into a minor accident and my bike has a few costly damages + conrod bearings need to be overhaul which everything costs about 1k and dont have the finance to do it.

 

so im considering of strippin 'n' scrapin it..i wanna sell the parts but before i open up at garage sales im opening up to all of you here.

 

all parts are standard(including block and pipe) and still original tank and meter.so basically anything u guys want is there.

 

but there are a few parts which cant be sold due to damages.

those are;

carb

rims(rear rim broken)

fork(a bit bend,but will sell it cheap if anyone wants it anyway)

taillight and tail(old coverset)

 

if anybody wants the block,my block is y3 and 1.00,i just installed original piston and gasket which i bought from the agent but unfortunately havent even get the chance to run it a km already the bike got into accident.so probably looking around at $120 for block+piston.

check if ur handle bar is bend or not... if its a local one usually it will break.. but original one will bend... if its bend u can get the mechanic to press it back for u. next will be ur fork alignment to check this u have to ride your bike and release both hand from your handle bar and see if it goes to one side then you would know which fork is bend. this are the two things i can think of bro.

 

ride safely bros out there. its rainy season nowdays. try not to travel around to much on the bike

Sounds dangerous to me...better get it checked out by a mechanic.
