Is there any rxz bike touring?? or rxz club??

bro, u go hou heng which one? gemok or the lil bro? maybe u can go back the shop go change piston and rings? better ask for all ori including gaskets.

 

I went to Hou Heng Gemok (boss).

He din mention the pricing though.

He said he gotta check e condition of e piston rings & see if anything else is required to be changed.

I dun wanna kena "carrot". Thats the thing now.

A few of my fren tested my bike & said dere's nothing wrong wif my piston ring.

In fact,they said dat even if i change to a new one now,

in anuder couple of months time, it wl sound like dat.

They said its normal.

fyi we ever did a group riding from jurong hill to changi village at a speed of 80km/h. there was about 10 rxz... this was becos afew of us were doing our running in.

Any1 noes bout dis?..im changing my rear sprocket to 42..wat size

should i use 4 da front?15 or 16?

 

Use 16 for front..if u wanna use 15f..then i recommend u 40 for the rear..good enough for sg roads

Problem:

 

Engine off...neutral gear...put on main stand....tilt rear wheel up..use hand to turn the wheel...not free-wheeling....a bit stiff...got screeching sound...not a lot...but have.

I move the wheel left and right...feels stable...so I dunno what's the problem.

 

Then I turn on the engine....1st gear...and run the rear wheel...didnt hear the screeching sound...maybe because covered over by the engine sound...

 

Anyone knows what's the problem?

Engine off...neutral gear...put on main stand....tilt rear wheel up..use hand to turn the wheel...not free-wheeling....a bit stiff...got screeching sound...not a lot...but have.

I move the wheel left and right...feels stable...so I dunno what's the problem.

 

Then I turn on the engine....1st gear...and run the rear wheel...didnt hear the screeching sound...maybe because covered over by the engine sound...

ur rear wheel is not free wheeling maybe becos u overtighten the nut at ur shaft which is holding on to the wheel.. that might give you a screeching sound.

try lubricating it with wd40 first at the gaps of the spocket nearer to the swingarm, the right hand side the bushing near the drum brake...

that depends wat needs to be changed.. if u'r talking abt getting a new engine, heard frm a friend that it'll cost RM1500 at JB..

it time for a "upsize" for ur piston.sent ur block for rebore with new "upsize" piston will help.just by changing the ring won't last long..dun waste the money.workmen ship cost can consider the same for stripping of the block...only add bit more for the cost for reboring and hornin.

Tat would be ur bearing. Usually, from all my experiences with weird sounds, broken bearing would be the sole probs. Try having a look at it, or might as well change it. I mean hey, it cost only 5 bucks for a set of Japan made sealed bearings!!!

 

(Or is there something I didn't fix right the last time??? Hmmmm...)

Hmmmm... But if everytime rebore due to piston ring, ur just killing ur block. And u know blocks don't come cheap and easily. Sure it'll feel nice with the extra power but can u tahan the extra vibration?

am indeed well enlighten: pls elaborate more on what could be done for the RXZ and escape the local TP.

Frankly I really do not know what LTA/TP after ...

am looking at customising the RXZ into a simplified cafe...less weight - more balance feel

to the bike: no real need for speed---handling comes 1st.
