just bought eh?my advice is do a full service(rebore ur block if needed be and change piston),carb setting(just say to mech enough fuel n air mixture inside if ur bike is for transport),change clutch plate(if needed to be),and change sprocket,45 rear and 15 front is a big no no.

 

after all this has done,im sure ur bike will be okay.

 

tubeless tyre depends on ur rim,sports rim or spokey rim?i think any **** and harry bikeshop sells tt900 80/80.

 

pls do get at least BT39 90/80 for ur rear.safety first before lawa tak lawa.

Thanks for the comment. Frankly speaking my bike jx done overhaul. B4 overhaul oso got the same problem. Once reaching 100km/h and above the engine like stressing. So berat ler when perah... Mayb spocket la.. Ape size recommended ah for spocket. As for my rim is racing boy 18". Got heard ppl say can get tyre 18" tubeless. Go some shop cannot get ler. Sumor I prefer Dunlop tt900, Batlex mahal ah. Byk travel nnt pocket koyak ah bro..

Myb la tt900 18" got tube type only. Haix my mtr can't exceeds 100km/h. Tyre oso difficult to get. Michellin got but not so good ler. Raining mx careful. BTW u guys recommend wat spocket size to used ah...

TT900 18" isnt tubeless. But get a sport rim and a tubeless valve, then it becomes tubeless!!! XD

bro syam,tadi aku try pat tpe/sle 120kmh,rim size aku 17 tapi bunyi kuat jugak.is it cos piston size aku 0.5 thats why bising?the bigger the piston the more bising eh?thanks.

Heyya brothers.Currently have some doubts to clear hope the experts can help! Currently using a JAP made (FD plater). Well its all stock. Running on a Y-4 block, 15/39spkt,O.E.M fast throttle it hits a top speed of 145km/h. Well i totally love my bike the only set back is the 5 speed gear mesh. Have to drag gear. I've thought of changing to 6 speed. But it requires an overhaul. Well i might do it as i intend to keep the bike for long term purposes. My doubt here would be about this Y-1 to Y-4 blocks.Are there really a big difference? What i can derive is that Y-1 blocks can withstand higher temperature for longer duration of usage. My intention was to do a 1Xsolid makeover of an overhaul,6speed gears and a 2nd hand y-1 block and rebore to fit a bigger sized piston. So what do you guys think? Or shall i just rebore this Y-4 block of mine and change a bigger piston? Beacause i wouldn't know how to check if the 2nd hand block i buy is gd or not. Come to the point of porting,my riding style is always only 80-100km/h.Don't always open open one. .Unless you know some fools wanna try you. Guess this way lesser chance of piston jam and stuff??(Well i used to own a kr and now im using this rxz never did porting before!) And the last doubt,i'm sure you guys have heard about the racing carburetors. Whats the diff btwn those and our stock rxz carburetors? And before any one replies i would wanna thank them in advance for taking time to read my post and helping me clear my doubts!

Ler... 120km/h mesti lah bising. Lol! Using 17" rims somemore, ape tk bising? Wat's ur sprocket setup? And wats ur rpm like wen hitting the speed?

Guys,my engine area got problem. ram engine in neutral, can see bubbles, smoke coming out from my top engine. he. Went to 1st motor n the uncle say need to rethread 4 of the screw lobangs from inside the engine (im a big noob w engines so i dunno which 4 screws n which 4 lobangs). he said compression already off and that the interna threads are slowly giving way. he's gonna charge me $18 per screw. total $72 to repair. any way i can do this myself or is there a cheaper alternative? hope u bros can help cos im in budget mode this week, n gotta rerpair my bike asap before something major happens. pls help bros =(

uh..aku tak spray utk org uh bro..aku blaja spray den spray sendiri..takde time uh nk buat business sambil skola..haha

 

n btw aku tak rekomen spray sendiri,spray can nye lacquer tak bagus.ni pon aku try2 concept sendiri je,leng kali anta kedai buat..kedai quote aku around 200+ je utk spray mcm aku.

y1 y4 no difference,if have also its minor,if u ride ur bike 80-100 den no need to worry,as long as ur block is original. some ppl say if urs is 5 speed then let it be 5 speed,riding an original 5 speed is different from riding a 6 speed and dragging the 5th gear all the way.but let those who knws about the 5 speed and 6 speed tell u.

 

im sure u know that racing carb is way bigger than a normal carb right?if im not wrong normal rxz carb is about 26mm..while racing carb can go about more than 30mm in size.the difference is racing carb sucks more air and fuel mixture and burn in ur block.no need to use em,try porting ur carb first.

yeah mcm syam ckp..rpm kau pat 120km/h brape?keep track bro,jgn drag sampai lebih 7rpm pastu setting tak cukup minyak,confirm2 seize mcm aku dulu.

 

aku nye rpm skrg pat 120km/h is right at 7,kalau more than 7,gi tuka sprocket,kalau engine kau standard sume,tuka size 17f-42r,ujung tak stress pickup pon ada.

 

Bro I beleive if the piston size standard. Everything standard still can run 140km/h. My bike problem sia, run 100km/h oso berat.

 

aku baru teringat,rxz kau airbox die kau check,da korek tak?if still got a plastic wall just below the air intake hole,ask shop to take it out. den go do some setting and change ur sprocket.

da kluar bubble ni da gawat ni. kau tau tempat spark plug tak?ar surrounding the spark plug got 4 nuts,under those nuts are 4 long screws,those screws attached to ur block,those screws yg longgar,it means that the screws cannot be tighten any further,nothing major will happen to ur engine but leave it like that sooner or later ur bike cannot start,no compression,air leak.

 

ni boleh buat sendiri if u have the rethreading tools,and u have to know how to do it also.

 

cheaper alternative is...biasa la..JB.satu tiang rm15,but be warned ada kedai buat tak bagus

use 15-38/39 okay kot?

TT900 18" isnt tubeless. But get a sport rim and a tubeless valve, then it becomes tubeless!!! XD

5 gear have a good pick up bro....

6 gear feel good to have coz u can change 1 more n feel diff...hee

bout block y1 and y4 the diff is the material...the rest is all the same

make sure the block is ori...

about carb, i recommend to use the ori jap carb

good setting = good performance
