hi,

 

i'm a helper in the temple and therefore all the incidents

mentioned doesn't involved me directly. as 4 the name

of the person involved, i have 2 protect their identity.

Yeo, I was scrolling through the Deities Festival pictures from your webby.

 

My question is, was there ever a point of time whereby the deities refused to leave the body it entered? How was this solved?

 

Now it all became clearer. My apologies if I am wrong, but is Lok Tang a phrase used for the possession by the deities?

 

I had a bad encounter of being chased by one of these characters before in my childhood days. I remember his face was fiery and such with his tongue sticking out big time.

 

By any chance, when is the next showcast again? I'm a moslem but perhaps I might be interested to view this kinda ceremonies as well just for the knowledge of it. Will I be allowed to attend if I wish to?

well, i hv not seen a deity refuse 2 leave from a medium b4, however, i hv seen

a deity left (detrance) from a medium incompletely. it was like half way stuck

inbetween the medium n in trance. it was a woman medium n she showed very

uncomfortable from her face. i don't know wat was the cause but most of the

time it happened 2 those new n unstable medium.

 

yes, 'Lok Tan' is one of the few hokkien phrases we used 2 describe medium in trance.

 

due 2 our multi-religion society, we have many moslem n other believers among

the spectators. in fact, it is a common sight 2 see malay n indian boys among

some lion troops during the temple festivity. one of my fan in my web is also a

moslem n he knew quite alot about taoism 2. visit his taoism collection

ha.. same here.. i used to so called be a part-time "gee Tong" and "Do Tao" was at bukit panjan.. later then i realise all was nt the real god.. then i left le.. but really seen some ghoST.. even my grand ma.. lol..

ok...heres 1 of my personal encounter when we rode up to genting in 2004.to cut the story short...we set off from jurong west..v near to tuas at abt 3am... when we reach the petronas after the 2nd link custom..we filled our tanks went to toilet....we went to the esso petrol station beside petronas...if any 1 of u hv been there..the toilet has a small pathway which leads to both the toilets..ladies on the left hand side...guys further in on the right hand side... as mi n my fren walk past the gals toilet..from the corner of my eye..i saw a figure standing near the basin washing hands...from wat i can see...it was wearing full white dress...wif long black hair covering the face which nearly touches the basin... at first i didnt bother abt it..i jus went to do my business..but the thought of the person was in my mind.. so when mi n my fren finished..we walk past the gals toilet again..i turn my head to look inside......... there was nuting! my fren saw mi turn my head but kept quiet until we walk further out where there are more pple..he asked mi..."did you see something inside the ladies toilet also? was it a lady full white wif long black hair?" i was like ?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!?!?!?!?!?! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i ask him u saw also???he nodded his head..we both looked at each other wif shocked look n faster got our arses outta there....

 

den while riding to genting...i duno where was it..but there were 6 bikes..i was the 3rd bike..so there were 2 in front of mi n 3 behind mi...when we went to the R&R stop to take a break..it was a coffeeshop...quite big...had to climb up the stairs to buy kopi...den the 2nd bike's gf was acting strangely...she told her bf something..den the guy oso kept quiet for a while...den he told the 1st bike tat jus now his gf saw a child half body following his bike by the side...n mind u guys..we were travelling abt 110...althought its nt v fast but who the heck can follow bare-footed... we gt a shock again..."DANG!"...but my frens bike had amulet so mayb tat was y the "thing" cant disturb him.....

better careful when travelling up the north sorth highway. that place alot of people die either from accidents or being killed. these things might not disturb u but it will cause a distraction. imagine going at 110kmh n seeing a bodyless figure running beside u. panic, thats it. can join them liao.

 

then who knows someone will stop to assist but rob u instead. no offense but things like this have been encounter by my friends before.

erm... frankly, nobody notices that there are a lot of such things along that NSH?? if you do not think so much and just concentrate on riding, they will appear as grey/white flashes... even sometimes along the way towards 2nd link also got...

 

but i had learned to ignore them and just concentrate on riding... do not think too much and do not look around too much... just concentrate on the road infront and occasionally look into the rear mirrors and you will be able to sleep at night
