Special thanks to kahhwee, limbat for helping cum acc me last sat

 

n double special thanks to kazama as he waited for me todae for quite a long time too to help me buy my bike and reali answered many of my queries... reali thanks reali appreciate it

then hor...if anyone free on the dae of collection i hope u all can acc mi collect then acc me home...coz

 

1: i dunno the way home

2: 3 yrs neber ride le

3: would like u all help me test bike to make its ok in perfect condition if possible

4: hehe for the company

i am also interested in a cbr but cant afford a new machine. so still looking around. but i hope to buy before my next semester starts.

 

Kazama, so the insurance for 2nd party (3rd party + fire + theft) cost ard $500 at ntuc? i am 24 yrs old with a 3 yr old license. i am thinking of going for the minimum 3rd party unless the $ difference isnt that great.

There is no motordiam near the 2nd link ... ley .... unless if u ..guys come back fr the 1st link...... dun think the motordiam in Kulai will be open till veri late at night .... :bounce:

U r welcome on that. No need so ke qi one. Nice colour u choose. Where is the shop that u got your bike from? If my time allows i won't mind go rounding to drain off the remaining petrol before i go pump. I like the yellow colour ley. NICE choice.

There are quite a few second hand cbr 150 models around. Have to look around in shops to see it lor. If not try to find private seller would be good. Do check back here, if got see i let u know.

yellow more uncommon so i chose tat ...

 

well... its at alexandra village at cyclelink, kazama's fren shop...

 

oya...when we get the bike...inside got petrol anot?

 

oyya got lotsa to do...muz go buy season parking too...

near alexander there got a mobil right? not too far away from queensway shopping centre. or is there an even nearer one?

hey ppl, check this picture out. it's my CBR150R sans head cowl and 1 piece of side fairing. it makes quite a nice naked bike right? it looks somewhat like a cagiva planet in my opinion. haha :cheeky:

i called the number and l was quoted $512 for 3rd party fire+theft and $339 for 3rd party. this is excluding the 10% discount. i told her that it will be a 2 yr old cbr 150.

 

yah, i have been faithfully following the classified and garage for 2nd hand cbrs. been to a few bike shops but cant find much cbrs.

 

anyway, i went through a half day defensive riding course at bbdc when i was still in army. i think it was 4 years ago. first, we watched a video show. then, we tried out the simulation riding which seems like those found in arcades. finally we do some counter skidding, followed by twists and turns around the circuits. i personally dont find it very useful leh. maybe cos we were forced by saf to attend and thus anything fun also becomes unenjoyable.

Hmm. then like that should go for the full day one better already. At least can get more knowledge also. I think have to go shops and see also. MAH got 2 but then i can say condition not so good la. Maybe u can head to bukit merah srea and see see. Should have a few la.

anyway juz to check...when collecting...we haf to go down queensway get the engine chassis no n registration road tax date rite then we go jurong ntuc do insurance then go back queensway get our bike is it? or how we get the bike n settle insurance???

Hi guys.. how do i check engine oil level? is it the "knob" by the right of the bike at the engine there? is there a "dipstick" like a car??

 

My bike was just growling and knocking along PIE just now... scared the hell outta me.... hope its my engine oil level low.. and not other serious problems.... Thanks for the help!
