Haha, it's been my dream to own a sports bike! But now that I'm nearing the goal, I'm a bit apprehensive cause of the financial aspect and whether or not I can ride it well. =/ Lots of people ask me to get a cub, but I don't really like cubs. =x

 

Why 'first choice already consider CBR'? Is there anything I must be careful about! Let me know!

well, our bikes are small bikes. dont need super grade petrol. mine has been running perfectly on 92.

exactly... CBR150 is a commuter bike in my opinion.

er, you can flip the mirror outwards.

 

or you can install car mirrors on your bike.

Thank you! Haha, I really do hope I get the CBR. I have a budget. It's like a dream bike, but I keep my options open cause I don't want to blow myself paying terrible installments and stuff. Still studying. =(

Hahaha. I prefer my bike to be less ppeeeeeeehhhhhh peeeehhhhhhhhhhhh.. =P

 

And fast is not really an issue for me at this point because, I want to be able to control the bike well, be safe and get better at riding. Then maybe I will consider upgrading. But I doubt I'd be the speeding kind of rider. I'm quite paranoid on the road, got crashed by a van once. Stupid driver wasn't looking. Ouch. Haha.

ok la the oil that u need to change is engine oil. not just 4 strokes, but all vehicles be it car or bike, 2 stroke 4 stroke or sexy stroke, all need to change engine oil.

guys, my bike has arrived... took her out all day today, touring and loving it!

See the pictures and drool *lol*

 

Did 240 kph on a quiet piece of motorway and still got more to give... but most enjoyable was touring the countryside, sweeping bends, small towns and overtaking the occasional tractor... what a day

Its from 1997 and has got 50km on the clock so has been doing less than 5k a year. I think it will do more than that with me!

 

Now all I need it a matching outfit, was thinking full leathers but no more money so need to wait a while and save up again. A pair of boots will be coming soon though, essential gear. Luckily my sgp mesh jacket still works well as long as the weather is warm like today.

i like the styling of the fairings. very sporty.

You know my size Zed, they wont have it... its never long enough for me and if it is, it will be double my width so I can park my bike inside also... Anyways, for real European season proof clothing, better to buy in Europe.

 

The fairings were updated for the 94-97 model to show those 'testarossa' style wings at the side... I like it a lot also, as well as the V shape underneath

 

But most of all, I like the way it rides... it has torque all the way through the rpm range and with 3-4k rpm in 6th gear, it still hits 200kph in a few seconds.. its a marvelous feeling although I need to be careful not to loose my license straightaway again...
