Hi,

I've been troubleshooting this problem for a long time now.

When the bike is cold/warmed up it revs up nicely. After riding for about 10-15 minutes, it will not rev pass 7K RPM as if there is a power cut.

I've changed a lot of things now, which includes: carburetor, magnetic coil and pulser coil, CDI, Plug cap and plug coil. timing chain and tensioner. All brand new original Honda parts.

Any idea what else could possibly be the reason?

find out what's wrong first, before doing a overhaul. The bloody engine is pretty bullet proof!

Change to mikuni original RX-Z carb.

Or check the following:

Check the PAIR CONTROL VALVE

I'll give the PAIR valve a go, but not the carb. But i dont think it will help as PAIR's purpose is much like a cat. converter, providing cleaner exhaust gases. Thanks for your input!
