Try to save as much as you can so that you can put a larger downpayment,

and ur installment won't be that bad..

 

Secondly, try to "manja-manja" with ur dad lah..

What i meant was to be nice to him.. give him a good impression.. Who knows he

might just change his mind, and help pay a bit...

 

And if all else fails, buy a second hand one... You can try to ask the seniors here to help

you, if you want...

 

Last but not least, Good luck for ur TP... try to pass on ur first attempt yah...

P.S: I still haven't get my bike yet.. I ordered it last week's monday, and they said

one week... I called twice already liao.

First time, i ask when can collect, they say "don't know, don't know...

later when ready, we call you". That was on this monday (1 week)

 

Second time on wednesday, my mom call liao, coz my dad mouth flying with %&$%

already, so it was safer if my mom was the one.. Then she said that if we still have to

wait long, she buy from another shop.. Then2, they say latest this friday "today"..

Hopefully they have it.. Coz mon start back school already.

 

The shop person say the bike need to send for inspection at LTA.. bla bla bla..

But, it shouldn't be that long, rite... I'll post up pics of the bike a.s.a.p

once i get it. Wish me luck

Nopez... My mom wanted to buy a first hand bike, so i chose cbr 150... Furthermore, the

FC way2 better than SP... The other specs also not that bad.. Especially the 2T part..

Save $$$..

 

Not forgetting, tmmt87. If all else fails, try something like... "i think i'm going to apply as

rider for a fast food outlet.. so that i can earn money to buy my bike.."

 

My mom promised to buy my bike in nov-dec, then2 change to july ..But I tried that (seriously.. i already got the job).

So after i got back from the interview, i told my parents about my successful application.

 

And TaaaDaaa!!! Brought forward to this month.. Weee!!!

Opps.. I forgot to tell you.. they don't accept female riders... And somehow, i think your

dad knows about this also.., & about the pic.. Just do a google search... & sometimes if

the size of the pic is too big (dimension), they will reduce the size for you.

Hey, guyz... Guess what!!!

I got my bike just now...

Luckily my dad follow... coz i didn't know the way back home.. I followed his lead from

the back... But it has been quite a while since my TP, so my bike kinda stall on the BKE.

I was at the left lane all the way,and luckily me & my dad stopped behind a Truck.. Coz in front got accident (taxi langgar...)

 

Then2, when trying to go out form the right, into the center lane.. Stall, coz i release my

clutch too fast (throw clutch).. Haiz... Tonight, my dad bring me go training on the road,

so that can gain road exp... Then2, on mon.. hopefully i comfortable already liao to go to school.

 

P.S: I haven't take pics yet.. Maybe later or something.. By the way, they install my IU

very weird leh... on the tank itself... Kinda good though, coz never block my meters

How long r u going to ride the bike? If u intend to upgrade then getting a second hand is a gd choice if going to ride for at least 3 years then get first hand one.

Is it true that even tho the CBR150 is a normal commuter bike that is dressed up to look like a sportsbike, insurance companies still classify it as a sportsbike, meaning same premium as for SP and KIPS?

Sp and KIPs insurence more expensive by abit. Our cbr is a sportsbike.

Hey, guyz.. I have one question... While i was changing to the last gear, the engine

roared as if i put it to neutral gear, then there was a loud click sound.. and it went back

to normal at last gear... This happened 2-3 times already... What causes that?

 

Ohh.. and really.. I'm amazed at how little the bike uses fuel.. I topped it to full tank last

friday, and i went to pasir ris, and back... and had a couple of training sessions with my

dad and yet, it still hasn't reach the half full mark... COOL!!! But too bad i can't go too

fast, coz it's still brand new... Sheesh!!

 

P.S: One hint when passing by dogs on dark roads at night.. Pass by them on low gear,

and stare at them while passing by... This will make them afraid of ya..

hMM. The Engine is new ma. The parts are not ran in yet. When u r kicking the gear sometime it might not be engage lor. Nothing one la.

hey.........KH r u sure there are "approved" HS Halogen white bulbs ???

To the best of my knowledge it is not possible to built a HS Halogen at 35watt & coat it to produce "white" light efficiently......... I check wif many manufacturers in Korea - none wants to produce a small quantity for me ley..... I have seen "Stanley" copies in Malaysia & Thailand, but I think these will brunt your wiring & HS sockets as well.

I'm getting a CBR150 if I pass my TP practical test on 10 July.

 

Do motordiams give and install P-plates for free to new riders who buy bikes from them or do we need to pay for the P-plate and installation?
