Bros, i ask question hor. what is a sprocket?? how many Km change once? i blur sia. How much to change air filter ah? How many Km then need to put the fork oil or over haul?

sprocket is together with the chain.

 

if u wan good pick up, change a small front sprocket n big rear sprocket. (take note, cruising at 100km/hr, rpm might be above the usual, say 8k rpm)

 

if u dun need pick up, change a normal rear sprocket n normal front, take note, rpm muight be lower den usual at 100km/hr

 

it really depends on how u take care of ur chain n sprockets. and when u change them, u need to change both. reason being:

 

1. new chain, old sprocket might damage new chain

2. old chain, new sprocket might be damaged by the old chain.

 

to see if u need to change the sprocket, feel the rear sprocket, the teeth if its sharp. if its too shrap(meaning wear n tear is present), u can change the chain as well as the sprockets, both front n back becoz the rear sprocket is also a good estimation to how worn off ur front sprocket is.

 

for me, i wash the chain n sprocket with a cheap semi synthetic eng oil with my old toothbrush. use cloth to clean every single bit. takes abt 4 hours.

 

after tat, ride the cleaned chain n sprockets for 2km. den start to lub it with the eng oil tat is left over

 

after tat i wash my hands n start to wax my bike

i was happily going at a 100kph until i see highway close and detour sign then i sian liao have to take choa chu kang road and jalan bahar back. ride after midnight alone with cemetries all around. haha shiok! :cheeky:

2 where got enough? i sold my helmets till i left 1 at one time. then went to buy some cheap one. i like the helemt evo2. Damm chio. even quite common.

travelling time only 10 plus km difference not tt significant right?

 

but i do agree that the waiting time will be quite a turn off. the queue at the causeway yesterday was very long! queue until sian.

 

maybe i should give 2nd a try first ba, next time going 2nd link let me know ok? hopefully i can catch up.
