Hey.......Gen8x buying 2nd bike is a veri personal thing ok , U hv to check carefully or get a shop to check. Ask love_ivy, he bought a 2nd bike & mileage is close to 30,000 - there are things tt have to be change - clutch plates set is 1 of them - brake pads & maybe even the tyres as well...... U hv to make tt choice then get ready to change certain parts...

Hey love_ivy wat parts did U have to change after tt night of the CBR150R gathering ?? care to share ............. :goodluck: :goodluck: :goodluck:

I think that 2.4 k for a bike abou 27000km is quite fair. But there are stuffs to change when you get the bike. Small things like airfilter, spark plug, tyres, clutch plate. to provide u to have a gd ride with your bike. As limbat said, it is a personal choice on what u choose to buy. Since installment is can be arrange, i would suggest u testing the bike and see if u really like it. then decide. :cheeky:

Limbat=> really wanna thank u so much for helping and teaching how to strip the meterboard and change the bulbs! :cheer: :cheer:

wat happened was that my headlight bulb and 2 of my meter bulbs are blown hence i approached limbat for help!

he somehow managed to help me sourced for the bulbs and taught me how to strip the meterboard and change the bulbs!

ermm level of difficulty is actually considered easy, very easy, i had less trouble taking out parts than i did for my NSR SP.

oh just to add.

the signal light on the meterboard cannot use LEDs i think, only can use light bulb.

on my way home just now i had to signal both directions (left and right). however, i realised that only the signal indicator starts blinking only in the left direction and not the right.

during installation and testing, we only tested the left direction indicator i believed that's why we didn't realised the problem!

now gotta look for another T10 bulb le! :giddy: :giddy:

anyone to clarify? correct me if i'm wrong!

underseat exhaust nice leh! :lovestruck: :lovestruck:

why kahhwee and u dun like it leh? care to explain?

the only thing to deter me from getting an underseat exhaust system is the it'll heat up the seat to unbearable high temperature.

U R right............. LEDs have a polarity issue, so i think we can't use them for indicator signal bulb, only for the 1 way usage - high beam, neutral & back ground lighting. Sorry I goofed ....... :sorry: :sorry: :sorry:

& now no more spares .... 1.7v T10s. Hey ... switch 1 of the background T10s to the signal position ...

:cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:
