help me guys.. about demerits..

i am a new owner(p-plate) of a 2b bike.. and this bike is under my father's(owner) and my name(sub-rider)..

 

One day, i was slacking with my friends and decided to warm up my bike just outside my carpark since it is "cold" and stalled twice.. unfortunately, i forgot to wear my helmet.. den a police car came by and took down my particulars (to send to TP) for not wearing a helmet.. 3 points if not wrong.. and S$120.00..

 

and so.. i jus wanna noe wether the points goes to my father or my name.. i need some good advice.. i want my points to be mine.. not my father..

since the police took down ur particular... its ur point dat wld be deducted.. unless they juz took ur bike no ... a letter by tp wld be send to ur dad... bt he can juz post it back by indicating ur particular & a new letter wld be posted to u... or even if it send to ur dad... u could juz bring the letter to tp & write ur particular & pay der ....

I think this is probably more of bad luck than dumb.

 

I don't think it'll be an offence if you only rev the throttle with the bike on the stands. I bet you rode the bike around.

i oso many time at junction red lite take off my helmet so hot. got 1 time i do dat turn behind got a police car oso noting happen... as long bike not moving

By right, Its already a offence when you are sitting on ur bike w/o helmet with engine ON.. just that normally TPs or whoever close eyes only.. Cuz not major offence... For your case, like what u've said, Just sitting on it w/o helmet, U can try to appeal @ TP department.. If u r riding ard, Then too bad.. The patrol car that caught u shd have already summited a report to TP department.. No need to try ur luck..

It's as good as Immediate Failure can be given if testee starts engine without seat belt buckled or helmet on during TP test..

if you jus sit and turn on ur engine.. i think can appeal. BUT if u ride arld den bo pian liao lo.

it shld be deducted from ur license...

i remember last year new year eve i was stop by a police patrol also for not wearing helmet... so i try to carry the balls abit n they let me off n warn me not to drink n drive... haha
