Recommendation for open face helmet!

Hi all,

 

I am currently using the Trax Vision T617, been really satisfied with it other than the fact that it's cushion (the plastic part) had more or less cracked and required replacement.

It's been like 6 months that I had been calling the distro and it was out of stock every time I called.

I believe they are not stocking the replacement and will not be stocking any time soon.

 

Just don't see the point in replacing the helmets when it's just the cushions that needs replacements.

 

Since the distro will not be stocking on the replacements, I am looking for new helmets which should be:

 

- open face (open to flip ups but prefer open face)

- has internal sun visor

- readily available cushion replacements

 

I looked at AGV, no suitable open face.

HJC got 2 models but none of them available in SG and the fitting doesn't really go down well with me.

 

Anyone has anything to share?

Kiss, smx are cheap brands which cost about 28 bucks.

go motorworld and regina and take a look at their helmets. Scorpion exo at motorworld has sun visor and is quite a good helmet, I forgot the exact model but my friend has it. nolan n44 and n43 are pretty good but dont think have sunvisor. SWITX SX.10 if u like half cap style it comes with sun visor too.

but iirc they dun have sun visors?

if they have sun visors at that price point, i would just change the helmet yearly or 2 and not get paddings replacement instead

the lack of open face helmet with sun visor and readily available padding replacement kits is kind of pushing me towards flip up helmets.

 

i will never ever get a Trax again.

The support for the helmet is horrendous and they are not exactly cheap either for a locally branded helmet.

I was using a J-cruise and it was the perfect helmet with a sun visor… best I've tried
