Disc brakes is not the flower one as shown in pic but the original Honda ones.

 

 

 

Selling off my well maintained CBR 400 because I'm planning on upgrading to a Class 2 bike.

 

COE : 31 Mar 2021 (7+ years more)

Engine condition : 9/10

Outlook condition : 9.5/10

 

Engine oil using motul (change every 3000km / 3 mths, whichever comes first)

Spark plug using denso iridium (change every 2 oil changes)

Tyres are quite new, both changed this year (can't rmb exact date)

Always pump only V power, dont believe in saving that couple of dollars

Fuel consumption is about 22-24km/l (depending on how "strong" your right wrist is)

Both front fork have been replaced with brand new original honda ones. (When i bought over bike, they were already damaged and always caused my oil seal to break)

Legal with cert Yoshimura pipe (Previous owner had accident and have some scratches on the pipe, re-wrapped with carbon fibre sticker but starting to peel alrdy, can re-wrap at $50)

New Original honda brake disc (preciously changed to flower break disc but cannot pass inspection, so i changed to original ones)

Paintwork just re-sprayed to Gold/Black early this year, even rims also sprayed. (check pictures for details)

Bubble currently has a slight crack (think some people knocked into my mirror at carpark or something, about $30-40?)

 

Easily clear meter ! (about 220~ BUT PLEASE ride safe!) :sweat:

Easily over 2k spent in repairing and replacing old parts!

ONLY use ORIGINAL HONDA parts!

TP and LTA friendly!

(There was a sudden increase in TP and LTA standards over these few years.. Go google how much trouble people in SG are having with all their flower brake disc/LED lights/moulded fairings etc.. Would you rather buy a bike and every annual inspection get a headache, see TP on the road also stress?)

 

All-in-all, I would recommend to both people who want to ride 2a for a long time or just as a stepping-stone to go for class 2.

 

For people who will ride this bike for a long time, it is a good deal, cause I really take good care of my bike, nothing much for you to change, maybe just rewrap the carbon fibre sticker on the pipe and change a bubble.

For those using as stepping-stone to class 2, the long COE will ensure that the value of the bike is still there when you want to sell.

 

Asking price is 5.3k

Reduced asking price to 4.9k !!!

FURTHER Reduced asking price to 4.5k !!!

Priced to go fast !!

Non-urgent as its in a good condition so I dont mind riding for a couple more years.

Price is still slightly negotiable upon viewing though, so do come down before making your decision.

BUMP~!

 

Realised the pictures are old ones..

 

Basically,

 

The IU is now covered fully in carbon fiber decals,

Lights are all TP friendly,

and disc brake is not the flower one but rather original honda ones

Go google how much trouble ppl having with leds, flower disc brakes or any non-original parts for the matter!

inspection really getting damn strict nowadays, last time go vicom chop chop pass, now more thorough inspection

Coe price very high, so most sellers here are trying their luck

 

haha, on one hand you're right.. coe now at 4k+, so naturally all the bikes with alot years left will increase in price.. cause the buyer wont have to worry about coe..

 

on the other hand, its more of the stuffs i had done to rebuild this machine.. i'll try and give a break down. can't rmb the exact prices.. interested buyers can just go any bike shop to ask to check if i stated correctly..

 

Paintwork $550

Rim work $200

Original honda pair of forks $800

Original honda pair of brake disc $800

 

These are the parts that aren't usually damaged by wear and tear.. so since i changed le.. there's really nth to "service" anymore..

 

Engine oil, spark plug, chain, tyres.. these stuff are the wear and tear parts.. but even these are relatively new..
