Hi Guys..

 

Just came back for the Langkawi Charity Ride... Went to a few places and covered appox 2245km. Really love the Bike..

 

For the Z8 tyres... 1 word sums it all up...! SHOIK! Went up to Carmeron Highlands and it handled really well...

 

A question; on the way back.. for a split second.. a Red Light came in on the left side of the console and the "FI Error" blink once on the LED Display... The bike still ran well... was traveling appox 220km/hr than...

 

Has any one ever had this?

 

I kena few mths back, as wat e pros here said, juz ignore it hehe...

hi

in between z8 & pilot rd 3.i prefer the pilot rd 3.as for the F1 light,mine also did lit up while travelling.looks like is a "cough" inmost all kawa gtr.

Frankly... My balls drop & my heart sank when I saw the binking red light and the FI Error sign came up...

 

Meet up with a Malaysian GTR owner and he did mention that for long distance... better to pump 97 instead of 95...

I seems to have the FI fault more often when i pump shell V power racing in My. Less so with any other petrol.

my balls also went up to my throat when the traction control light lit up ,it happened @ those trunk road in mersing.the bike actually "air borne".!but i still love the feeling.cheers bro.

Hmmm i only pump sg v power once in 2 mth... So far use msia 95 dun have e "tick" sound so shud b orite...

Hi beesee, like you I am new to a GTR. Just switch from the ZZR to this. Guess I really love the looks of the bike

and the best part of not having the need to lube the chain on touring rides. We'll see any chances of meetup.

Thanks for the heads up on the Z8. You may also want to check your oil level. The manual 4.7l inclusive of oil filter change, some mechanic may mistake it for 4l. I had my Fi light came up once during a ride up north, I topped up the difference.

Yap.. did top up to 4.7L... I'll be leaving for PuChong (KL) for my servicing when a new KAWA Showroom opens on the 2nd week of July. Sub Workshop of Chai Ken Motors....

Enjoy the ride with the GTR you will find every reasons to ride long distance. Especially the long highway.... If you dare the GTR will also eats the sports bike on corners. Had seen a Malaysian GTR takes the corner in Sepang like a sports bike. Cheers...
