hi guys,

long time no see.....

do you guys face the braking problem like when u slowing down to brake, there is somekind of noisy sound "yiiiiiiiiiiii"?

i've been to piaggio service centre 4 times already still cannot solve my problem, then mr.yap chane the brake pad for me, no sound anymore but after 5 days later the sound come back again. Today i went to piaggio service centre again but Mr.Yap told me that Brembo brake is like that although change new for afew times it will come back too.....? Aiks, frustrated leh.

He ask me to go for other's bike shop to buy other brand of brake pad, more softer brake.

Will this solve my problem? Is it related to the braking system?

long time no see.... anyway think i do have this yiiiiiii sound also but only when e bike is cold... not warmed up yet.,....

sometimes it could also be that you press too hard hence kinda of like jamming the brakes, it will result in that too....

normally i gradually press the brake to make the bike slow down unless emergency cases then different talk....

You might want to meet me at 494 to let doctor see and what's diagnos....

Hey Babylone, so long never hear from u so far I didnt have tat experience, usually wen the brake pad is dirty then will have sound. Juz need to jet spray air then ok alredi.

Hey X8ers, I have been riding the X8 for about a month now.

However this afternoon, I encountered something I never experienced before. After I turned off the ignition, I could still hear something like a fan still running. The sound went on about 7-8 secs before it stopped.

I turn on the ignition and the temperature gauge reading is normal.

Has this occured to anyone of you before? Is this normal?

Bro no worries, tat is norm wen ur bike is about to overheat the fan kicks in to cool ur bike down.

One more thing, I just check my battery condition, realise that 2 cells have dried up, do you think it's better to change a new battery or just top up with battery water? The battery is more than 1.5 yrs old. The voltage level is about 12.4v when engine is off.

If get new battery, where to get at resonable price and what to get, Dry cell, Wet cell or MF cell?
