Hi bros,

Need some advice from you all.

I am riding a phantom TA 200 for few years and just got my class 2 license.

I do not know which class 2 bike to go for. Initially i wanted a sports bike but i am afraid the pillion rider will not feel comfortable sitting on it.

Therefore,

i am looking for a class 2 bike that is friendly to pillion , Low Fuel consumption( compare to class 2 bike ), Low Maintenance, not to tall( i am only 1.65m tall therefore tall bike is not an option for me.)

The few bike i have in mind right now is

Harley davidson Sporters 48 ( heard the tank is really small)

suzuki GSR 750

Harley davidson Iron 883

Honda NC 750S

Hope to have more recommendation from you guys.

thank in advance

I have 1 word for you dude. "Test".

I know some shops allow you to sit on the bikes, have a general feel of the ergonomics and everything.

Certain shops, BMW, Ducati, Harley allows test rides, though they may have requirements you need to meet, which i cant verify. But i'm sure they will allow you to sit on the bike at least.

No one can give you a class 2 recommendation without being you yourself. Everyone has different budget, different expectations, different uses for their ideal vehicles.

Some will give up the pillion comfort for the sheer power of Supersports, some will give up budget for sheer looks, i hope you get my point. Its all about compromise; how much are you willing to compromise in one sector to gain more in another.

Lastly, I will just like to give you my opinion that when i moved from 2a to class 2, the jump is big in my opinion, I'm not sure how well you will cope with the jump from class 2b to class 2. But once again, to each his own.

Based on your criteria alone (low fuel consumption, low maintenance, pillion friendly, not too tall) you should go try out the NC750S or even NC750X (not very tall actually, but much better wind protection than the S).
