The bike was around S$14,000 when new in 2006. Someone mentioned a used one is around S$8,000 now.

There are 4 blacks and 1 red W400 in Singapore, mine is the 2nd piece. The other forumer Apachezulu has got the 4th piece and I believe the W400 that bro Bodyslam just bought is the 1st piece.

The third one has a rear box and a rear mud flap. The last one, red in colour, sold not long ago after sitting in MAH’s showroom for 4 years :thirsty:

Hello ! Sorry Phang, sold my W400 in late 2009 (guilty- bo pian, too good a price to decline). Changed to a Ducati Hypermotard and nearly died paying the servicing cost !! Got rid of that and riding a sweet 2008 PML R1200GS with only 7k km now. It's been 3 months leow and still haven't stopped grinning yet.....kekekeke! Catch up Yum Cha soon ! Cheers !

A bit itchy for this one.....

please PM me

cheers!

Good luck to you

You might want to consider W650 or W800, both are easier to acquire than the W400.

I just changed the engine oil of my W400 and rode it around the island for 150km yesterday. It is a nice little bike to ride around town, especially when you want to take a break from the heavier and more powerful class 2 bike :thirsty:

yea need lots of luck....

i only have a class 2A, that why w400 is my only choice and i only want a classic looking bike.

unless i wait for another year for my class 2 .......your bike looks great any chance of selling it??:p

The poor W400 is molested by me inside out, with my finger prints all over the place... want to sell also no value.

Seriously, I am sure I will regret if I ever sell away the W400. I am sure I will never able to find another one with the same conditions :p

from the photos can tell that you really took care of your baby.

thinking about royal enfield but dont wana spend 10700 on a new enfield....think is not worth the price...

guess i have to keep looking or i just have to wait for my class 2 then.

nice bike you got there! :thumb:

Enfields are quiet rough in finishing in my opinion. It looks nice if you admire the bike from 3 meters away

Honestly, I suggest you get your Class 2 license. It open up the choice of bikes, don’t limit yourself with 400cc.

At the mean time get some cheap and common bike to ride if you need one and don’t have one yet, easy to buy and sell until you found your dream bike :thirsty:

Red W400 reporting in. :)

Thanks to Marco, I am somehow the 2nd owner of a 3 year old 9190km clocked bike which looks like a year old. And I don't even have a 2A! Hope to get it soon!:cheeky:

Great thread. Lots of great info here. Been searching for a new fuel tank, just different colour. Is silver available?

Congratulations! That's the only red W400 in Singapore :thumb:

You just missed the W Mersing trip 2 weeks ago :thirsty:

Very cool. So does it mean that a W400 does not come in other colors other than black or red tank?

Mersing? Hmmmm I'll pass my 2A first then keep a look out for you all. By the way, I used to see a black W at Crawford Lane. Anyone's ride?

MAH brought in the W400 in 2006 so we have only black (ebony) and red W400 in Singapore.

In Japan, they have the following colours:-

2006 Ebony, Red

2007 Ebony, Silver, Green

2008 Ebony, Blue

Crawford Lane? definitely not me :thirsty:

So if there's 5 W400s, how many W650s or W800s in SG?

There are many types of moly grease in the local market but mostly are general purpose lithium base grease "with moly content"

I bought mine many years ago at:-

Hong Teck Hin Hardware & Machinery Pte Ltd

265 Jalan Besar, Singapore 208938

It contains 65% molybdenum disulfide solid.

Both also bird's nest drinks but I am sure you know which one is the good stuff

Thanks for the link, I guess you pay the premium for the good stuff.

I found some engine assembly lube online but not sure of the content inside and if its available locally, guess I will just use the loctite ones.
