No worries... you have my number...

Personally, I'd do the pipe before the crank... with the crank you'll need to factor in the cost of an engine rebuild see.... bu then if you need a rebuild...

Aiyoh... decisions decisions!

No kidding though that the pipe will give you the most bang for your buck and be easier to "dial in" than the crank will be...

How about mods to handling? My Bitubo is still for sale :p

that's another factor too......

but i'm probably gonna need a rebuild anyways..my crank and various components aren't performing optimally..with the addition of a cosa clutch on top of the normal porting as well...

so i think i'll get the crank first before the exhaust....

unless i get both at the same time, but that'll set me back what??

at leask $1.2k??

ouh, which is better,a d-slide or flatside carb??kos i was talking to you ans he said that a 28/28 carb should be sufficient without having to put in a manifold or reed valve.

and of course,if by the time i've scrapped together enough cash,if ur bitubo is still available,i'll probably snap it up...

I'd just leave your carb alone to be honest.... I don't think you need a big carb for the torque monster that you're building... a bigger carb will give you more topend, but rob you of low end.... The Vortex is a bit better, but still.... the 24/24 stock carb is going to be up to the job if you ask me...

Mind you... with that crank... you'll be going reedvalve... and thus a bigger carb is a must.... But what carb to buy... I've no idea... I know that the Mikuni is a killer carb :)

You'll need a manifold

This one rocks.... (buy the boeyson reeds also)

This Dellorto carb is a popular one

I think a 28mm is about as big as you need to go....

Basically going reedvalve is expensive.... but you will get much improved performance... Given that you don't know what condition your rotary pad is in (part of engine casing which you can't really fix)... going reedvalve might be a good option....

If you want to keep the rotary induction (basically how your engine works currently) and not buy the reedvalve manifold... then you need a crank like this one...

Its basically a stock mazz that has been balanced by SIP

For 159 EUR you can get this crank from worb 5.. search for V1000351

You'll also want to spend the money on getting the big end pin laser welded... just click on the link below 75EUR

So, 159+75 = 244 EUR + up to 5 kg Shipping 75 EURO = 319 EUR

Which is a hefty 662 Sing dollars.... Alot of money... but the best 60mm crank you can get...

The laser welding mightn't be strictly necessary.... but its like insurance....

Then factor in the cost of your engine rebuild....

It all adds up....

I'd also be considering one of these.... (which will convert you to a Full DC system) then get a battery and one of these after you're all done (cos you won't ever want to get it stolen!)!

Basically bits to make it accelerate quicker.... and have more torque, so you can hold your speed on hills....

Well.... being able to accelerate quickly can get you out trouble quickly.... using power with responsibility... as having power can get you into trouble quickly too!

sharpey > that is a hefty sup indeed.....

so right now, on brining in a crankshaft + scorpion exhaust....

it would roughly cost me S$1400 am i right?

excluding the engine rebuild etc......

Check with the LTA guy before you buy the exhaust... they need to be informed that you intend to purchase it.... Tell him its the same as the one he approved for me... Name's Vincent... I have his number at work... Give him a buzz... good chap.

will do...

once i've scraped together enough cash,i'll give him a buzz....

and yeah...ouch......

unless auntie brings in the mazuchelli crank, there;s no alternative but to just work with the 57mm one...
