[sold] WTS Extremely low mileage 2008 Vespa lx150 @ 3900SGD

Hi all, it's been a hard decision but looking to sell off my red vespa lx150.

 

Reason for selling : I will be relocating to the UK for a couple of years. Leaving the vespa behind underutilized and accumulating dust would be a waste so have decided to let her go to a better owner.

 

Coe expiry : Apr 2018. Plate no FBC. I am the 3rd owner since early 2012. 1st owner was the bike shop whose title was transferred to the owner (considered 2nd) upon completion of the loan.

 

Mileage : 28,000 km. Extremely low considering its age. I only take it out on the weekends for short rides and not for daily commuting.

 

Engine condition : 10/10. Maintenance schedule strictly followed as I always believe you will pay triple-fold down the road if you neglect it. Wear and tear parts all replaced with original parts during periodic full services at Tong Aik. Last full service just done Sept 2014. Records are all there if you are looking for proof.

 

Engine starts off reliably without issue every weekend despite leaving it for one week or longer unturned. This is a carbureted version and I have a spare carburetor (new pin and float) that will be passed to the new owner.

 

Good mileage averaging around 26km/liter

 

Physical condition : 8/10. Slight dent in the front panel and light scratches on the side panels due to stationary drop in the car park during ownership of previous owner. I did not fix it as it's minor aesthetics that didn't bother me. I'm letting the bike go cheap in order to account for touch up painting/repair as you deem fit.

 

Red paint is original and maintains its gloss as bike is always under shelter. Washed twice a month with light coating of wax to preserve the condition.

 

New rear tires with less than 1000km on it.

 

Price : Deposit paid pending transfer of ownership. Full cash as bike is fully paid.
