Interesting trip. But you did you guys have to change to Kup kia?

Manual Kup kias goes at 150 bhat/day and 125cc auto scooter, 200 baht/day. 250cc auto scooter @ 250 baht/day.

And riding our bikes in phuket's traffic is not really a good idea. We did take our bikes down to Nicky's Handlebar tho. But the rest of the days are kup kias!

These are the pictures from my phone camera.

hi guys,

looks like the the cb guys r so quiet.......

huggable, how r u?able to get yr cb1k as u mention b4????there is one cb13 selling at bou 4k at chao chu kang area.wat bike u r riding now?

Hi au, I'll probably give the CB1k or 1k3 a miss due to the ride height. Moreover the maintenance cost would be higher than the CB750, which is similar to the Super4. Still looking around for "the one", ha!

Rainman is letting go of his. His offer also sounds very attractive. You just have to pay a little to get your name in as a subrider.

Do consider that bike.

And the CB750 maintenance is less than super 4!

- Sparkplugs cost half the price of the super 4.

- No radiator to flush.

- Engine oil only uses 3 L with filter changer and 2.8 with no filter change. which is less than super 4.

- Tires are cheaper as well.

I need to be prudent with my finances as I am a missionary and my salary depends on God.

So a small bike for transport will suffice.

Hey guys. Check out my petrol concumption. 308km hit reserve!! That's like only 17km/L. Used to be about the range of 19 - 20. Not sure what happened but i'm gonna change my air-filter later. So will see how's the difference.

Hi Guys

I am new here, just wondering whats the performance like of a cb750 compared to cb400 spec III ? Pick up , mid range and top speed?

I am deciding between cb400 or cb750. ....

Btw anyone tried top speed for cb750?? any power cut??

Thanks

Pickup and speed is higher. Just dont get the Jap model. Jap model also top at 180.

Euro model goes up to 220+. Mid range pickup is definitely better than super 4. Pickup from 110 is effortless. Low rpm bike. Cruising at 120km/h @ only 5k rpm.

size is bigger than super 4 giving more comfort for taller riders.

maintenance is lower than super 4.

- plugs @ $5 each.

- No radiator.

- 3 bottle engine oil with oil filter change.

Only drawback is the weight. Its around 210kg dry.

hi,

i think u can see from the speedometer cos for jap model max is 180 but euro should be more.

Euro model states 240km/h on the dial.

Hi AB! Welcome to the CB750 thread! William Tan has stated all the fast facts about the CB750 well!

Probably after I return from Israel (4th Dec), I will call for a meet up and hopefully you can get to try one of our bikes to compare with a Super 4.

God Bless!

hi guys,

i think everyone busy cos i dint see any cb750 n above last night.how r ur guys?last night bout 60 s4 meet up or more i m not sure....ok see ur around take care....

hi AB

If you seriously considering this bike, I suggest you go and buy a new bike at Looi's. I brought mine at 13K every thing included ie: insurance one year at 2nd party, road tax half year, IU unit included and 3 times change engine oil and inspection.

If you see my previous FR, I also ask alot of question on this bike. But now no regrets buying this bike. except no fuel gauge and hazard light switches. Can cruise at 120km/h any time. I tried 2nd link which hit to 150Km/h and still can go more but at point of time my neck was going to break... No wonder they call break-neck speed.

I am thinking of adding few more head lights for the second link travelling. any one can recommend where it is cheap?:bouncefire:

Hi ab,

Rainman is also looking for someone to take over his bike. You can contact him early next month for details too! :thumb:
