Finally my bikes is back with me after 1 long week at my mechanic's place.

Changed the :

.Timing chain

. B-set gaskets and oil seals which practically means every single oil seal and gasket on the lower portion of the bike.

Discovered that my cam-shaft is worn by about 1.3mm and since it cost about $800 (excluding service) to replace them, i decided not to as since our bikes have hydrauclicly controlled valves, my mech says it will compensate by itself. Just have to bear with the constant ticking sound.

Now, no more leaks in the engine! HAHAHAHAHA!!! Yet to check the oil level though. If it's still decreasing, then i know, it must be from the pistons.

And here's a few pictures of my bike. Sorry, too lazy to host it from another page.

I remembered there was a thick rubber host running at the side of the engine block, always wondered what was it for?

Saw that your bike going slowly most of the time! :cheeky:

Think rubber hose?

Now do not have...

which part of the eingine did you see it at?

Should be on the right, they had a semi-transparent hose, that runs somewhere from the top to the crankcase, if I'm not wrong. I would think it's some additional oil cooler?

I think they removed it before selling the bike...

I'm thinking of putting in an additional breather hose too...

Anybody here wants a engine guard? I still have mine with me.

Make by Seng Kwang in stainless steel.

If interested, give me a PM.

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

Hi Huggable,

Thanks for asking. Well, I don't work near Changi Prison but I work inside. Not only Changi Prison but the other prisons located islandwide (we have 9 men's and 1 women's prison). I am in charge of the Aftercare Ministry of Prison Fellowship Singapore, a Christian non profit organisation. The Aftercare Ministry looks into the needs of prisoners whom are due to be released after completing their sentence. Hpe this helps.

God Bless!

Hi Rainman ,

Have fond memories of this bike from my SSDC days during the 90s.

Not too sure if they are still using the bike there.

Nice to see a pic of the bike again though. Thanks

Hi William, OngCS and Luohan,

To bad the weather was not good last night and so I thought it was best that we postpone the meet to another day. As I left Changi Prison last night to go down and meet you guys, it started to pour so I got caught in the rain. By the way, Dannyelly bro smsed me that he is overseas and so couldn't join us yesterday. Well, bros, any suggestions on our next possible meet?

Weather kinda unpredictable these few weeks. Didn't rain at Bukit Panjang but could hear distant rumble of thunder and also lighting.

How about next Tues at the same place?

Psalm 144:3-4

O LORD, what is man that you regard him, the son of man that you think of him?

Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.

Hey! No problem! Well, do look out for our meeting posts. Most likely it would be in the North as most of us are living in the North.

Well, we have to be careful these days. Have to make sure we have our rain gear.

Ok, how about the rest of you guys? Next Tuesday, 27th September can you all make it? I would like to propose we meet earlier at 8pm so that we can go back early. Please send in your suggestions.
