You sure that's the stock exhaust? Cos the one I saw had the Vance and Hines reverse cone exhaust on.

Anyone considering Thruxton standard over Thruxton R? Reason?

For local city riding, does the improved suspension and brakes worth it?

I took a test ride on Stweet Twin recently. It has only 55 bhp but its engine has 270° firing order that produces monster torque at low & mid range. It's a perfect daily machine. It is a much lighter and better machine than the old model. But it is pricy at $28.9k without insurance. Thruxton R would be way above 30k when it comes in June. I think it is cheaper to get the coming yamaha xsr900 at about $24k on the road. But it lacks the retro classic look of Triumph machines.

Sat on the all new Thruxton R.... don't really like it... it feel too new-age

Test rode the Street Twin... what a lovely machine!

I need to feel the new T120 before deciding what to get... the old green Thurston 900 felt good too
