Yap I have the tool to balance the carb. Bought on this website http://www.carbtune.com

Adjusting the air/fuel mixture screw by listening is not easy because you need to turn the mixture screw till the cylinder almost die and back out the mixture screw just enough for the cylinder to be running again. When all other 3 cylinder running its very hard to listen to the signle one you are tuning.

The best method is to use a digital gas analyser and lamda sensor on your exhaust header to tune. I used to have the digital gas analyser but I have sold it off as I'm unsure how to use also.

There is a gadget called color tune, by seeing the flame inside the engine. Its cheaper than the digital gas anlyser, but how effective I'm not sure.

Btw tuning at static is not so accurate because when you riding riding, its dynamic. You will still need to ride and tune to your own liking. What I normally do is turn in the mixture screw all the way in and back out 2.5 turns as a baseline and from there I start to inc/dec by 0.5 turns to feel the changes.

Normally when the bike is too rich the symtoms are harder to start when bike is hot, the rev needle will rise when you blip the throttle, fall below the idling and rise back to the idling speed again. And you may see black smoke too if its very very rich.

For lean condition, bike difficult to start when bike cold, rev needle will rise fall abit before falling to the idling speed.

Just found the mixture screw setting 2 and 3/4 turns out if you are riding version S. Looks a little rich to me, maybe 2 and 1/4 turn sounds right.

The digital gas analyer cost ard 90 pounds from http://www.gunson.co.uk. Color tune is available on gunson website or morgan carbtune website http://www.carbtune.com

The digital gas analyser comes with instruction but it did not come with the tuning CO setting.

For the color tune you can see color change in the combustion of fuel in the engine.

Maybe can just send your bike to K&T for tuning, from the previous post I realise they use gas anlyser for tuning.

If you dun mind the inital cost of investment for the equipment, just order on-line, they will ship here within a week.
